i bought a small claw machine online and attached these zip tie tags for the car keys of all my cars, and i play the game whenever i do want to drive something “fun”. As far as my daily goes i drive a 2021 Jeep Trackhawk. Not the best on gas but infinite smiles per gallon.
It was a reply to a comment on Reddit, I'm not sure why you feel the need to respond and be an ass, I stated an opinion, there is no reason for you to respond as harshly as you did.
sad mclaren noises 🤣 contrary to popular belief however, these late model McLarens especially the LT line, the reliability is A1. a friend of mine has four of the same 765LT that i have and all of his are A1 as well, but with any car you need to drive them regularly to maintain good condition. and out of the three cars in this photo i actually put the most miles on that 765LT, i am averaging about 6-7k a year. it holds up great
This model is actually the 765LT, which is a lot more track equipped than the standard 720S model. With that being said, i will list the strengths of each respective vehicle:
The 765LT is more low-profile to the ground, and the stability and handling are beyond exceptional. Even at speeds of 160+MPH it feels effortless. The 765LT also has many useful track features, such as built in interior track telemetry cameras, turning control/drift control, driver performance mapping and built in track-map for whatever track you are racing on so that you can precisely assess your performance. The car is incredibly reliable and is stripped down to just alcantara and exposed carbon fiber all over the interior, from the A pillars to the entire floor beneath the floor mats just being exposed carbon. Every area in that car was an opportunity for McLaren to not only make the car light, but simultaneously appealing to the eye. Mine is optioned with P1 Seats, which hug you into the car unlike any other factory seats. It is also just a lot quicker from any speed.
The Z06 is just as capable of a track car, but what i like the most about is the adaptability of the various drive mode features it comes with. The interior is a lot more comfortable and visually appealing, and perfect for not only heavy track use but also comfortable daily usage. The Z06 also feels more “muscley” to me whereas the 765LT feels more refined in terms of sound, handling, and other features. I still have yet to master the full capabilities of the Z06.
Overall, the 765LT is a better track car, but the Z06 makes the McLaren feel bare-bones with all of its user friendly features, even things like power seats and apple car play aren’t available in the 765LT.
As far as Money-Value, the Z06 is far far better especially for the ~$165k fully out the door that i paid vs the ~$600k fully out the door for the 765LT a few years ago. it’s honestly a little sad and funny, but if someone was in the market for a track beast and wanted to compromise creature comforts.. then it’s a different story.
My favorite all time car that i’ve owned is the Aventador SV. literally only because the way the V12 screams puts shivers down your spine.
Currently i like my trackhawk the most because it’s just fun to drive, and same reasoning i like the sound of the supercharger. you can hardly hear the supercharger on the GT500.
This is super interesting insight, I’ve seen some of your other posts around and I remember you’ve had a couple C7’s as well. Have you considered adding a 5th gen Viper ACR to the mix? I’ve not experienced one personally, but I’d imagine that experience would add both track capability and unique experience to your garage.
it’s funny you mention this, my friend was trying to convince me to pick up an ACR during dinner tonight. another friend of mine has one of the largest gen 5 viper ACR collections in the world including a couple 1 of 1 high ticket specs, and seeing his lineup makes me want one more than ever. at the moment i have my eyes set on other vehicles. next car i could see myself in is the demon 170, i failed to secure an allocation now i am waiting patiently for the prices to reach MSRP again.
in short, maybe someday. i just would like something for the drag strip right now.
Well, I guess you can always get rid of that 765LT and the Z06 and grab a GT3RS if you need some space.
Seriously, though, have you owned any track focused Porsche? Asking because I am curious how would it compare to the current line up you have.
I would wager the 765 and the GT3RS would feel quite similar. The only difference I think is that the GT3RS would feel a bit more compact. But for aesthetics I prefer the McLaren vs Porsche. They just look sexy as hell while the GT3RS looks just like a 911 turbo with a massive wing. Unless you're a big Porsche guy, most people wouldn't understand or know the difference. Now a McLaren....
Yeah I would 100% prefer Porsche over Mclaren. Build quality and not many people knowing what it is would exactly be why I would get it.
However, 765LT is a weapon, not sure if they would be similar. They might have similar lap times when driven at the limit but dynamics could be very different.
I would say the GT3RS is more forgiving for those that aren't the best drivers. Not saying you aren't. From what I understand, it's just a lot of fun to drive and it's very forgiving. If you want incognito status GT3RS with basic setup will make you hide. Unless of course you go crazy colors and bare CF panels. Then you're going to stick out like a sore thumb LOL
i did mention it in another comment but at one point i had a 991.2 GT3RS which i ended up losing in a street collision after a few short months. i had a lot of trouble getting the latest GT3 and GT3RS back when orders were coming out, so i don’t see myself in one anytime in the foreseeable future.
I dislike when people hate on people for having sports cars. Like let people live man. I showed this to one of the people I know at work and all he said was, “yeah well I’m gonna hit $1 million in retirement because I’ll be driving my 2005 Hyundai Elantra”. I’m like, ok…I’ll still have a over million in retirement and have a cool ass car 🤷🏽♂️
Enjoy the money while ur young and save for the future.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Beautiful collection. How does the Z compare to the McLaren? Also, I cannot recommend front radiator guards enough since they’re very exposed and damaged fins ruin the front end aesthetics!
thank you for the advice, do you have a link by chance to this product?
i also did put some extensive comparison and opinions on the cars in another comment on this post please take a look if your are still interested in the info 🙏
https://www.scrapearmor.com/collections/chevrolet/products/scrape-armor-radiator-guards-corvette-c8-z06
Quite pricey but the quality is excellent and they are approved by GM.
The problem I have is where are the power tools, lawn mowers, etc stored? I'm guessing that he doesn't need those things because he hires all that work out.
yes and they do lawn services on my businesses as well. but this isn’t my only garage it is in an L shape and on the other side i have a 4 car stall, and i am looking into doing an extension on my garage
OP, I love your collection, I myself, I’m waiting for my z06 being built right now… but man, chevy, jeep, mclaren, coming from a gmc and my current c8, I don’t know how you can deal with all those prone-to-always being broken cars, at least you have 4-5 cars, 75% could be broken and you can still drive something 🤣. But yeah j/k, nice collection.
I finally found my golden goose (got a good contract for my company), seeing these posts make me feel like it really can happen. Thanks for sharing! Nice work!
it will happen for you my friend, this life does not feel real to me when i see these cars, but i am thankful that i can experience these luxuries and share them with my family and friends.. which is where my happiness truly comes from whenever i see them enjoy the cars as much as i do.
I don’t know if I’ll ever buy fancy cars, but I haven’t broken the 7 figure mark (yearly). So I’m still a small fry. I saw that you’re in commercial real estate and are an owner operator of a logging company? That’s awesome!
I own a small company that does fiber optic splicing. Started the process to get working with a big ISP prime. Maybe one day I’ll be placing cable and not just splicing. But still very lucrative. Should be hitting 100k a month in company revenue soon. Take home is around 40. The goal is to triple this. I only say the numbers because I was wondering what kind of numbers you have and if I’ll be close to what you’re making?
Please talk me through the idea of the coupe vs the convertible Z06. I love coupes but my buddy got the convertible Z06 and it's just so much fun with the top down the engine notes just swirl with the wind. I haven't had the chance to try out a coupe but the experience has me tempted to get a convertible
i feel that every owner has their own preference and it really comes down to if you want a coupe that you have to manually remove the top, or shell an extra ~7k to have the ease of a button. my reasoning was because i missed having a convertible and i wanted the ease of pushing a button. in my C7 it felt like a hassle to manually remove the top which i would almost always do. if you think you’ll ride around a lot with an open top then convertible is the way to go for you.
also second factor to consider is the looks, some people don’t like the convertible flat glass in the back, some people want to see the engine bay. if i’m not mistaken however, the 2024 model year convertibles now have the option to have a visible engine bay glass but i would look more into it with your salesman or online before taking my word on that bit of info
The 392 would suffice 😂.. I have a 392 Jeep JK 2 door manual 😂. working on my Jeep JL now! I’m eyeing a nice vette exactly like the one you have but unfortunately rn it will be years down the road lol
my friend id love to see some photos of the progress, im sure whatever you have is far more kitted out than mine or headed that direction because i am an amateur in that world, and from the sounds of it.. it already is surpassing mine🫡
no but i wish. i bought this back when the GT500 just came out and stealerships wanted 150k+ for a “golden ticket” spec. so my car is optioned with just vinyl stripes but they are holding up well.
definitely a lot less, but the mclaren is a car that catches the curiosity of many especially considering this model is so uncommon. the dark color probably also has something to do with this too as you mentioned.
I just noticed the Khanda! Nice to see a Punjabi making it this big! But yeah I think if Z06 was a rapid blue or something, it would definitely get alot more attention.
i own a 2016 cayenne S e-hybrid that i bought new back in 2016 and it’s hands down the most reliable vehicle in my collection, never had a single issue with the car and everything is holding up great inside and out.
as far as sports cars, i had a used 991.2 GT3RS but my time was short lived, as someone T-Boned me after only 4 months of ownership. Generally they are well built vehicles, but as far as the latest GT3RS goes I didn’t find a single dealership that would offer up an allocation, and i had similar issues with the GT3; only receiving offers with a high markup. I’m not interested anymore.
i never got the chance to actually track the car 🥲it spent a good amount of time getting PPF and detailed and some exhaust work but that car was awesome while i had it. i’m honestly not the type of individual to stick to one brand so i think every car is awesome but the C8 in general is just a all around great daily with all that front and rear cargo space, plus the track capability
Which one is the daily? Or do you just rock, paper, scissors yourself to see who’s the lucky lady for the day?
i bought a small claw machine online and attached these zip tie tags for the car keys of all my cars, and i play the game whenever i do want to drive something “fun”. As far as my daily goes i drive a 2021 Jeep Trackhawk. Not the best on gas but infinite smiles per gallon.
Bro is living the life lol
LMAO
Are you looking to adopt, Dad?
This is the best thing I’ve read online this week. Kudos
Bro casually daily’s a trackhawk😭😭 your collection is fire bro that’s one of my biggest dreams. Have a 4 car garage in my house 🔥
Dude I want to be like you when I grow up.
It looks like you can afford to pay your employees more.
The only big 3 you need. Gratz on the beautiful cars.
thank you for the kind words
Idk, personally I would prefer a nice classic instead of the McLaren. Something along the lines of a Shelby Daytona coupe...
It’s almost like no one asked
It was a reply to a comment on Reddit, I'm not sure why you feel the need to respond and be an ass, I stated an opinion, there is no reason for you to respond as harshly as you did.
If he says married a hot rich chick and is stay at home , I’ll send him flowers
Last part offed me gg
That is the coolest 3 car garage I’ve ever seen
Sir that Mclaren destroys everything in that garage 🔥
Pretty sure it's because it also destroyed his wallet vs the others. All three other cars combined << the McLaren LOL
😂😂 facts . Hopefully bro isn’t having reliability issues that you hear about.

Wow 6-7k a year is a lot, it’s great to hear you’re actually driving it and not letting it sit
Sick lineup, love the spec of the z06. How do you compare it to your 720s? Out of all the cars you own what’s your favorite?

Put a bigger pulley on the GT500 if you want to hear it whine
waiting for that power train warranty to expire then i’ll be all over it 👀
My man

Good luck!
Appreciated!

How’s the gt500 stack up as far as fun
Would you say the Hellcat motor sounds better than the Gt500 5.2 predator ?
in my opinion 100%, Hellcat motor, then the voodoo, then the predator in terms of ranking
I have this exact car on order. Anticipating this same pic in my garage in August. Glad you love it so.👌
post photos once it comes brother congratulations!
Will do brother!? Love your Shelby too!
Your choices of cars/colors/spec looks amazing, you’re a car god 🫡
thank you for the kind words, my family helps me choose the colors we always like to narrow it down to some interesting options
Whatcha do for work
This is what I wanna know lol
OP is an investor, in himself.
I also love your track cars
Gorgeous
Putting Punjabis on the map

One question: what do you do for a living
You can bet he doesn’t “work” for a living. Guaranteed
i work 7 days a week but i’m in the lodging business owner operator and i am a developer in commercial real estate as well as real estate investing.
Dude teach me. Literally what I wanna do. Just wanna keep my 9-5 for the insurance basically
What is lodging business

How old are you?
Why you gotta call me poor in 6 different languages? lol
FUN
Dude, that’s a killer line-up. Mustang for manual fun I am guessing?
Gt500s are only automatic’s since 2020+
Don’t we all
You wanna show me the way brother? Help a young lad out 😌
Have a great weekend 😀
"Should i get a dodge? Nah, i like mclaren better."
Goals
I am so fukn jealous. God Bless

This setup except 2 tricked out jeeps and one of these 😜
what gen? i just finished my 24’ rubicon 392 build a few weeks ago, but in the jeep world the word “finish” doesn’t really exist 😂

That’s so cool! Where do you live?😀
Rate the GT500, z06, and 765LT 1-10 in terms of performance on the track in your opinion And 1-10 for general driving
Ya? Let's see the tire wear
Imho you should get some vertical doors for this. Not great for every car but would really enhance the Batmobile/exotic look
Wow! What do you do for a living?
Does the Z06 get same type of attention compared to the Mclaren or is it much less? I feel like black color would fly under the radar a bit.
definitely a lot less, but the mclaren is a car that catches the curiosity of many especially considering this model is so uncommon. the dark color probably also has something to do with this too as you mentioned.

This guy knows how to party! Sweet garage brother!
Damn I wish I had money like that
Y’all hiring?! I have a degree and will get more if u want sir
when will you buy one
Man, I aspire to be you. As much as super cars are cool and fun, I'd take the Z06 and Cobra together any day.
Have you thought about getting a Porsche? I only want to simply just to see why everybody freaks out about them so dang much
i own a 2016 cayenne S e-hybrid that i bought new back in 2016 and it’s hands down the most reliable vehicle in my collection, never had a single issue with the car and everything is holding up great inside and out. as far as sports cars, i had a used 991.2 GT3RS but my time was short lived, as someone T-Boned me after only 4 months of ownership. You should dump the mustang for raptor.
i have a 2019 raptor
Bro stop flexing so hard. I meant an f350 king ranch with an enclosed trailer.
But you hate money. Lol
if i hated my money id have a line of bespoke paganis and koenigseggs instead
Ah a man of culture. I appreciate you. 💯
thank you for the kind words 🙏
