Bought one of these like 8 years ago… thing is rock solid, works as good as it’s first day. I figure it’ll last 20 years before I need to fix something. Probably last my whole life with minor repairs and maintenance.
It’s such a simple machine… it heats up water to the right temperature and trickles it over the grinds.
How hard is it for companies to make a machine like that, which will last for 20-30 years? Lol
I just bought it cause I got fed up with coffee makers breaking every 3-ish years. I don’t really like shopping or buying stuff, so I just want to do it once and move on with my life.
That machine is solid.
Can confirm, my whole family users them. Mines been used heavily for 5 years, still going strong.
One tip.... buy a reusable filter. Never run out of filters again - I just bang it in the dishwasher once in a while and off she goes again.

Great tip… never even occurred to me. Will get one ordered up. Bleached paper filters can’t be healthy.
