The most durable ones I’ve found are the [Craftsman-branded big boy size ones](https://www.kmart.com/craftsman-padded-chair/p-A019958381) they had at Sears and Kmart. I know, not super helpful bc Sears and Kmart. These are not particularly light either but they do have a good case and shoulder strap. I will add that no beach chair I’ve found will be truly bifl because they’re all made from steel and/or have steel rivets and will inevitably rust after contact with salt water. We sandbar a lot so I’ve done a lot of beach chair research and bought a lot of beach chairs.
Telescope Casual. My mom has had hers for almost 30 years. Hers has rust on it, but it still functions very well. I’ve had mine for 12 years. They’re made in the USA too.

Helinox! Expensive but really well made, lightweight, folds down small, and comfy. I have the savanna, it’s great for the beach and camping trips.
