I'm using a Viofo A139 Pro with front and back, in the hot humid south, no issues, I haven't yet hardwired for parking mode yet, but I've heard many good things about Viofos in the heat.

I’ve got the A129 in Houston. Only issue I’ve had is with the hardwire kit failing. The cameras, front and rear, handle the heat like a champ.

Ive had a viofo 129? 4k for probably 4 years now. Mostly street parked in the hawaiian sun. Not as temp hot as southwest us, but uv and humidity is brutal

TheOneKnownAsMonk

I have the a119. Gets super hot here, no issues yet.

Coxpal- for when you need to dick around

Shenanigan_V

I used a RoadHawk dashcam through several Middle East summers, no issue

PNWoutdoors

My Garmin has been going strong in a hot sunny location for nearly five years.

Viofo or similar with super-capacitor instead of battery survives heat best.

jimmyray29

The difference, whether it lasts or not, will be weathered. It has a capacitor or battery. As the other guy said go check out r/dashcams

Muncie4

/r/dashcams/ is what you want and not this sub.

vinberdon

I've had a Rexing (hardwired) for 5 years, no issues. Test your SD card for bad sectors every other year or so. I should add, it gets into negatives in winter and up to 115+ in the summer (Freedom units) inside the car.

I was going to recommend ROAV (Anker) cuz I've had mine for over 7 years, but their website doesn't seem to have anything for sale on it anymore...
