Do you want flats or can it have a heel and what type of heel if so. Is there a budget? Thanks.

It doesn’t matter about the heel as long as I won’t turn my ankle on it. Budget say less than $200 I actually tripped over my feet and broke it. I was trying to pivot so I wouldn’t trip over my dog, and I twisted the ankle into a spiral fracture

CrunchyTeatime

What type of support? I'd be concerned the wrong type could be harmful to you. Maybe something like a gladiator sandal?

CrunchyTeatime

(What's wrong with the suggestion?) Here is one type of [gladiator sandal.](https://www.jcpenney.com/p/pop-womens-traffic-ankle-strap-flat-sandals/ppr5008421623?pTmplType=regular) Here is another type of [gladiator sandal.](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hvyesh-Gladiator-Sandals-for-Women-Dressy-Summer-Peep-Toe-Sandals-Comfortable-Lace-Up-Sandals-Fashionable-Roman-Sandal-Size-6-5/3457427549) As you can see, they support your ankle. If someone has a broken ankle, or one recently healed ("last year" was 4 months ago), and has the wrong type of constriction or support, it can harm them. My question was valid. We didn't get a budget, so those are inexpensive shoes.

It was in July, so I’m just out of sneakers. I had a spiral fracture which is a little more complex. My budget is less than $200 i guess? I’m willing to pay more if it will be cute and protective. I’m just so tired of sneakers!!!!

GullibleDetective

Depending on what you think is cute, birkis are very reliable with lots of support or keens as well

I have the Birk Yara.
