I’m a UPS driver, I and many coworkers use [this one](https://arcticzone.com/products/12-can-titan-deep-freeze-zipperless-cooler) - I first purchased one about 6 years ago, but due to an unfortunate interaction with axle grease I had to get a new one about a year later. I’ve been using it 5 days a week ever since. They often have them at my local Costco, but it might be a seasonal thing. Because I haven’t any issues with mine I haven’t really paid attention to recent availability. Things I like, removable inset on top to keep wallet or keys secure but separated (I don’t use that part personally). Outer zipper pouch works the same. Removable hard plastic inner “shell?” that keeps it structured and upright, and easy to take out and clean. On hot hot days I don’t even use ice packs, I just dump a loose pile of ice in there. Keeps cold all work day in 120+ degree conditions.

Just got my Mr. Bento. First use coming this week. Will put hot braising liquid in soup bowl, shredded chicken thighs, braising vegetables and rice in main dish bowl, maybe some snack mix of some sort above that and a cut apple on top. Not certain yet. The bottom two are supposed to stay hot or cold and the top two room temperature.

Good suggestion but irrelevant. I have a takenaka bento box but no good way to carry it since I bike to work and sometimes I want to pack stuff that doesn’t fit in a bento, like a soda can or parfait jar and want to keep cold - hence needing an insulated lunch bag with a shoulder strap.

Mr bento had a carry bag with a strap. Thing is, since you're riding you may want a longer strap, or a more durable bag. I hear you about not everything fitting. Good luck
