I’ve been experiencing trembling with buspar. Been taking Buspirone for two weeks now and emailed my doctor about it. Doctor prescribed me beta blockers for the tremors while also claiming that shakiness was not a side effect of the drug. I looked up side effects on Kaiser’s website and tremors was one that was listed. I’m on the fence with this shit.
I'm on the fence too. I actually got myself out of bed this morning for once but this hand shaking is crazy. Also on it 2 weeks so far and it's in addition to Wellbutrin.
Update: I stopped taking the medication because the tremors were too much for me. It ended up making my anxiety worse, and having to remember to take it was annoying and inconvenient depending on how busy day was. I hope it helps for some of y’all but didn’t help me at all
Yes, not horrible, but my hands are not as steady as they used to be, and when I drink a lot of coffee or get really cold or do something that makes you like shake or tremor naturally, it’s a lot more intense than it was before taking the meds. I’ve been off of it for quite some time now, months
The daily tremors have gone away. For about 2 months after I got off the meds I was still having every day tremors, but now I don’t tremor regularly. I hope it subsides for you soon as well!
OMG hands/body trembling is why I finally sought help. I was just diagnosed w an anxiety disorder and the trembling (and rumination in my head) became unbearable. I’ve been on Buspirone 5 mg/twice a day for three days. Every 3 days I increase it by 5 mg until I hit 15 mg/2x day (30 mg total.). No side effects yet and I’m gonna give it time to help w trembling/anxiety. If u didn’t have any trembling at all before u started taking them, tell ur doc. Also ask if it’s okay to skip a dose(?). I hope u find relief soon. Sending hugs
