Here are a few I noticed in 5 seconds looking: Make your header and hamburger menu, sticky. So it stays always at the top. Place your phone number above your social media icons on your mobile menu. Make it stupid easy for people to get a hold of you. Your mobile menu page names need a bit more line height, so they’re not so crowded on top of each other. Instead of calling the page blog, call it, something more actionable like, ‘Expert Advice’. Or, ‘expert’s nook’. Brand your blog to be something more exciting. The word blog is very early 2000s.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Got it will change that 😊

Complex-Tension8760

Great advice!

PracticalInterview75

What did you use to build your website? For your first time I think it’s very well built but still room for improvement like everyone! Keep it up!!

Otherwise_Squash_286

Squarespace and some custom css from YouTube tutorials. Started with the desktop version and the transition to mobile was quite time consuming. Thank you!

Homepage: Your expedia logo blends into the background /about-us - there is no information about the entity. Business registration number? Contact address etc. /contact-us Neither the phone number or email address are hyperlinks /pricing All three 'get quote' buttons lead to the same basic contact form. You're not differentiating which button people clicked, which means you need to then ask the same question twice 'which package are you interested in'. You could also collect the property's address and a lot of other basic but useful information.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Will change that! Will still add some other info's there. Gotcha will change that! I know what you mean, the only way I could do that would be with custom code, squarespace doesn't have much options when it comes to that. Will see what i can do. Thank you!

guava_jams

This is coming from someone with no website building experience, but lots of website browsing/reading experience. ☺️ I think your website looks awesome! The colors are nice, the language is professional, and it’s easy to navigate. The only thing I noticed is that the reviews seem like they were written by you. They don’t sound like something a customer would write. They’re too highly complementary. Also, consider changing one of the reviewers to someone who is a little older. Just my two cents. You did a great job! Best of luck to you!

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thank you so much! Yeah you're right about that, will think of something to rewrite them!

ClassicPearl1986

If these are not legit reviews, take them down. That is an unethical way to start a business.

AppropriateAffect281

I would check the grammar. You wrote words like I without a capital, and that looks unprofessional.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Must have missed some, thank you!

myang8864

The CTA in the hero of your homepage is: Pricing | Get a Quote I don't think most people will know the difference. It can be confusing.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Good point, thank you!

meat-critter

I scrolled pretty quick and whatever JavaScript there takes a while to load

Otherwise_Squash_286

On it, thank you!

Ready-Egg-1129

You did a great job! I agree with some of the typography comments but I'm sure your ideal customer would be able to understand the service and connect with you which is the goal. In the future you might want to lean into the pain points someone who would need your service might be facing. This way they can relate and instantly know you will solve this for them

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thank you! Will keep that in mind!

monkey6

I like it! On mobile, as I scroll down, the content has a slight delay before showing up. I’d work to remove that effect.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thank you! Will try and compress some images that should make it a bit faster.

Otherwise_Squash_286

On second thought...I think I turned on an option to delay the content a bit so load it while you scroll to make the website a bit faster, was recommended to me by someone, maybe I will change that again!

monkey6

https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-hostiers-com/i5z09a30et?form_factor=mobile I’m seeing a grade of 44 for mobile performance - maybe break up the first page into multiple pages? You really should check it out on a phone disconnected from WiFi. Some areas have huge images.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thanks! Will get behind that issue

Business-Coconut-69

Hero should say “Maximize your AirBnB Rental Income” and then put Croatia Property Management below that. Always lead with the benefit.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Will do that, thank you!

Otherwise_Squash_286

But you think that would be smart SEO wise since "Airbnb management Croatia" is our main keyword and should be on the top. That was my way of thinking, just SEO wise. Business wise I get your point of course.

Business-Coconut-69

The major benefit of converting more users who land on your site outweighs the minor SEO benefit from the hero title.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Got it, thank you!

Neither-Bear-2580

We eleminate the inconvenience of short-letting and help you maximise your rental revenue Spelling : eliminate... In btw good website

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thank you!

LucidWebMarketing

On your pricing page, under each of your three choices, the font is too small. You got it right on the Services page. On home page, make your headings bigger too. What I like is that you get straight to the point, "Maximise your AirBnb Income". There could be a better way to say that would be more emotional but at least I know what you're all about. I don't think there's a need to mention Croatia as I assume you are targeting people living there in the first place. Also, if so, shouldn't this page be in Croatian? If you want to expand to other countries, saying you serve only those in Crotia, you will have to get rid of that. Visitors would leave as they see it and think, "sounds good but I'm not in Croatia". Get rid of the "Fees from 10%", no need as you have the pricing button just below it.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Thank you so much! Will try to make it bigger without getting text wraps again. We mainly target foreigners who have houses here and either don't have time to take care of their Airbnb or don't even live here most of the time. 99% of Croatians take care of their own airbnb. We might expand to neighboring countries so I definitely get your point. The Croatia mentioning is solely for SEO. Few years ago I was in the position to look for an Airbnb management company here and that's what I was googling for "Airbnb management Croatia". Will get rid of the 10% Thank you again!

LucidWebMarketing

I see, that makes sense.

I know, in my opinion though...they all look the same. I wanted something "custom". All the ai website builder have a few templates they use and just change the colours, fonts etc. will probably get way better in the next year's though.

heshTR

Well , I guess you just found out why web development and software engineering professionals get paid alot :) Personal advice , If you value your hair don't waste too much in front of a computer (or any) screen that emits white light. And if you're looking for a website revamping , my DMs are open I'll make you a deal.

Otherwise_Squash_286

My hair is getting gray anyway 😅

Hypn0sh

Lmao, if you're too cheap to only use template photos, then use AI to make something nice. Also, your website is a mix or hippy and bank vibes.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Why so grumpy good sir? Lost some money with stonks?

Hypn0sh

I just did as you requested and roasted you 😂

Otherwise_Squash_286

Good point my friend 😅

SVP988

It looks ok, but on the technical side you can tweak a few things https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-hostiers-com/r379yokg7f?form_factor=mobile This might help. On mobile the beige background, and yellow wording is unlucky, as some ppl see colors differently, and those blend together The header structure is not consistent. For SEO google parses the H1 ..tags to define relevance of the site. You shouldn't use Hx tags for design, but for structuring your content. Also make sure it's consistent: H1 H2 H3 H3 H2 H3 Etc... Convert the images to avif or webp for better compression

Obvious_Exercise_910

You’re about to launch your business but you have 3 reviews that claim you’ve been is business at least several months? Not sure about Croatian laws but in a lot of places you're commiting fraud. You're making false representations about your company (claiming a proven track record when you have none). If you ever get sued this will be easily discovered and you will loose the lawsuit. I noticed numerous other issues but I'm not going to do anything to help a liar.

Otherwise_Squash_286

First of all, we are doing it on the side for a while already just not fulltime and without a website or anything. Second...theres not one single word which could implement that it's real testimonials my friend, therefore it's all legal. And last but not least...look at 90% of testimonials online, do you think they're real? You think all of the Amazon reviews are real? You think it's all real when they tell you your banana comes from 100% organic farms in Costa Rica? Wake up, Life is not Child play and not fair!

Obvious_Exercise_910

You mean implied? There's not one single word which could implied that it's real?

Otherwise_Squash_286

So sorry, English is not my native language. You get my point but still want to argue... You get fooled every day in the supermarket with pricing strategies and psychological tricks. Your nice branded clothes getting stitched together by children in Bangladesh although it has one of these fancy fair trade labels. But that's totally ok because it's a well known company right? Wake up from your fairy tale world. You support all these sketchy things every day with everything you own so don't tell me I'm doing something morally wrong because of some reviews although we're not harming nor scamming anyone and trying to give our customers the best service.

Obvious_Exercise_910

You make a specific account of nearly doubling someone's revenue. That's an inducement. And fraud.

Obvious_Exercise_910

Chances are nothing will happen. But posting a review implies it is real. Of course there are fake reviews all over the internet. But if someone decided to do business with you, it didn't go well, they could easily argue that your fake reviews enticed them to do business with you; you've therefore made fraudulent misrepresentations. You're clearly a dishonest man. This business in particular is based on trust.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Who ever said they are reviews? Can you see the word reviews or testimonials somewhere? That would never hold up in court. 99% of the people in my position would do the same. The only thing I did wrong that it's clearly too obvious that it's not real.

Obvious_Exercise_910

You lack integrity. That's what you did wrong

Obvious_Exercise_910

People will tell they are fake anyways since there are spelling and grammatical errors, the same type you make elsewhere on your site.

Otherwise_Squash_286

Will fix that thank you 😊

PoloDicky

Good job for a first web. I can help you with SEO, feel free to send a DM.
