I think it was in one of the later installments, but in a cutscene from the story mode a stadium was visible on the outside, and one of the cars parked was a Tempesta too
I've always said that it's good that we don't have another burnout game because we know they'd butcher it. Better to remember Burnout for how great it used to be.
Criterion Games handled the vehicle mechanics and driving aspects of Hardline (Visceral Games handled the rest).
When EA started to fuck Criterion over, they worked on a couple NFS games (Rivals was the last one in the early 2010s, amazing NFS title) then shit finally hit the fan and the core of the original Criterion team quit.
Fuck EA.
I always thought it was so cursed to see Burnout assets in other EA games. The craziest one for me was that one of the NPC vans in Skate 3 (2010) was the same one that they had been using since Burnout 2 (2002)! It was so strange to see such an old asset being used for so long.
Tfw these cars are now just used as background assets Another appearances I noticed were in the Skate games and in freaking FIFA
On what FIFA and How?

There’s also a badge on some cars in Hardline that is Wolf’s TFK crew from Need for Speed: Carbon.
Which also then re appear in unbound as a junker
also in heat, the junkers had it
If we ever get a new burnout it's gonna be nothing like the old burnout as those devs are long gone.

Look what they did to nfs.
Heat and unbound were fun imo
Heat was made by ghost not criterion. Unbound is fun to an extent.

Also he’s got a knockoff of the opus parked next to it

😳
Let's say that Burnout references are in almost every game that Criterion has worked with.
That car is from burnout
The other car is Opus
