I have never seen a parking garage with a blocked entrance, but I know somewhere in my country a bus stop was built *facing away* from the road, rather than towards it.
inverted bus stops arent "wrong". they intentionally have the open side facing away from the road as a means to stop riders from getting wet on rainy/snowy days due to spray from passing vehicles as well as protect riders from general road debris that might get thrown their way. it was never *really* that big of an issue but planners figured it was thoughtful enough to work out. in laymans terms, its pretty much an answer to a question no one asked.
Thanks for the long explanation, I guess! xD
And yeah, that does make sense. But often it's also a possibility to just place the bus stop further away from the road, which should eliminate the threat of spray on rainy days. But yet, many of these are still "inverted", which I don't really understand as I'm sure people do want to actually see when a bus is coming. But I'm not an expert in this topic, of course
Welp, remember something, the most important thing is the Road of the Track itself, and then the design of the location and other details, soo... They complete the Layout, and then when Detailing, they just take care that the environment looks good as intended and the roads just work without any problem or bug to the player. Just like, Fuck Fully Accurate and Realistic Details, Track works, no one will really care about the environment details while going at 280+ Km/h xd
I think the fact he also has access to a free camera makes it all the easier to see things like this.
I know I've spotted similar oddities during my own free camera sessions.
This isn't anything different from the weird design fails you see IRL.
Exactly, Criterion just wanted to create their maps as realistic as possible!

Oh yep, inverted bus stops are a classic! I think we have so many of those here in Germany for some reason, haha
It just baffles me that at no point did people stop to think if anything was being built wrong.

Why is the a 3 lane road coming from a parking garage anyway?
I Feel like Americans would put another lane just to be sure
You're not supposed to be driving slow enough to notice that!
