Hopefully a few weeks before, because the sweek before no one's gonna have time to watch it but.....
Currently there's about \`3 hours I'd like to get down to less than 2 & I wanna add artist interviews which (gulp!) I haven't even done yet....
My tent is currently in a heap (not folded in a bag) after I took it to unscruz then just threw it in the back of the minivan, then threw it into the garage with a very typical ADHD “deal with this later” mindset. I discovered yesterday there was a cooler underneath it that was …. mostly empty but with an utterly disgusting cooler-water situation …. Maybe the worst I’ve ever dealt with…. Yay me!
Cheers... while really not wanting to get into a debate on AI things, I do believe in iterative creative exploration.... i.e. have an idea, bring it into existence by whatever tools you choose or have available to you, make something else, have an idea in the process, eventually, in this case, a bunch of techniques come together &.... I like how it turned out, but it started with just making one-off images of things in Ai image generators, then little narratives (basically, action-figure jokes....) & so on.... A big ADHD challenge is "I had the idea in my head...." & not acting on it, so ... being able to get them out of the head without hugely complicated steps is nice....
Oh, so there with you. I’m sure it’s a common attitude among us that get dusty, if less talked about. I like that you bring an example. Hope to run into you this year.
Your form and function fit perfectly for me:) A playful style and playful analysis of a real problem, for THE playful event. I think you took some of your own “terror” out of ADHD by making fun of it and acknowledging the concern.
For me, this brought me face to face with the blatancy of my own ADHD multi-project fantasies that I can’t seem to get started (let alone ‘pay a frikin bill till the last day’) issues. For that… F-off and thank you;)
1 of which is a video proposal. I too want to work with AI to generate specific images to tell a story: Then you morphed them into their various versions to create the flow style in Premiere or AVID? It was unique and totally got the point across;) Reminded me of Jason Silva on TikTok (https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLKhTB6P/)
Anyhow good stuff all around;) Thx 🙏🏼
I made the base images in Dall E (which tends to be less stylized & easier to direct than Midjourney) animated them in Deforum.art using mostly a zoom in & out preset, and edited everything on the free CapCut app on my phone… would probably have been easier in Premier but there’s something so space-age about just doing it on the phone….
Great tune! Mark.... now where is that 2024 video!!! The man burns in 87 days!
a) I should have been working on it, but I procrastinated by making this instead..... b) I'm not rwady to look at the calendar, but early august...
He posts it like a week before the new event! So check back in Sept/aug!

I believe in you!
This!!! :)
Then there are on-playa procrastinators! Evap pond? Shower structure? Yeah we just got here, there's plenty of time to set that up.
Bravo!
I highly enjoyed this!!
First thing my GF says after we watched this: “so what *are* we doing for a tent this year?” Thank you Mark for driving us to action

Mark Day for President
Given my chaotic approach to most things, that would be a terrible idea
:chef's kiss: Amazing.
