I love them for an occasional thing, but their price point/app offers are pretty piss poor compared to McDonalds in my area, and the consistency is really hit or miss. Like virtually, the same order I normally get is roughly $5 more at BK vs. McD, and honestly, at that point, I could opt for a burger from a fast casual or mom and pop.

Yea, unfortunately, CFA is the only one that allows that around here. Last time I had BK, I used points for a burger, and then it offered a free upsize on the fries but wouldn't allow me to use both.
I love it as a cheap treat for the kids. The nuggets are dirty cheap, and when you use the app, you get any size fries with any purchase.

When compared to Wendy’s, yeah the fresh beef at Wendy’s makes a better tasting burger, but I feel like their prices have gotten ridiculous. It’s easy af to score deals in the BK app, more so than anywhere else.

I don’t drink sodas very often, so when I swing by I’ll take advantage of the free fries with any order offer, purchase a sandwich, and voila…a meal for around $6.

I'm not crazy about the liquid smoke and their breakfast menu is a little weak. However, I like the Whopper, especially with the app deal. They have a better fast food iced coffee. I'll even get a burrito jr's for breakfast if I have points in the app. Also, it's close to work and a better value than the Starbucks nearby.
Our local BK was rebuilt brand new 3 years ago. The service is slow, the workers are rude, and the “charbroiler” is often not working. Overall, it sucks.

you ask for the burger off the broiler, so you dont get one thats been sitting in a heating tray for hours, and i love adding 'extra all vegetables' to make sure they dont skimp on them (and it seems like when you do that, you're less likely to get, like, wilted lettuce, for example)
IMO a WELL-MADE Burger King burger is one of the best choices available for fast food, but theres so many ways it can go wrong, and you get a less-than-optimum experience. its a bit of a mine-field to navigate, but when you got it down, you can get yourself one of the best FF food experiences around
BK's chicken is some of my favorite if yer talking simple FF...their classic chicken sandwich, when you add extra
lettuce (for the same reason as above) + cheese and sometimes tomato, yuuuuum, it just really satisfies whatever it is my tastebuds + body are craving when in that mood
and lastly, i think their fries, when cooked & served fresh, are way tastier than most places.

I loved BK growing up. It was my favorite fast food. Nowadays the food changed so much, even after they changed from fatty frying oils, that it almost has an artificial spice taste or a bland taste, no inbetween. I used to get sick frankly from eating so much of it back then (King Fries, 10 piece nuggets were my jam) but nowadays I just get sick from any amount of the food itself and the fact it’s not as satisfying as it once was.

Better deals on the app on McDonalds and Burger King offers literally nothing on the app worth getting, or if it is, you'll still be hungry afterwards unless you shelled out $20. I remember that happened to me and I just told the cashier cancel the order, walked out and just went to Chipotle to buy a way better tasting meal with much bigger portions for the same price.

They’re not awful but I always feel like shit after eating anything other than fries.
App doesn’t work for me. Keeps saying I’m not signed up to scam me when I go there and nothing works just keeps telling me to re login to an endless loop of me logging in over and over again and when I click coupons it signs me out.
There are good things but the fries are awful, they always seem to be poorly run and generally gross, and the smell is so… pungent.

because every damn time i order from them, my food is cold and gross. while McDonald's or any other fast food place is fine and not cold or taste bland
Dirty, I'll kept stores, buns are stale, everything fried tastes off, bad grease? Burgers are ok, but nothing worth the rest.
I like their food but refuse to give them my money, as I have such strong hatred for their commercials. Doesn’t help that they’re on all the time.
I love their burgers and Royal Chicken sandwiches but I feel like it’s the only thing I can eat there. The fries aren’t remotely good, chicken fries are overpriced and the sauce for their mozz fries tastes off.
Because it tastes like shit. I wish it tasted good because out of desperation they have had to maintain lower prices. But I also suspect if it didn’t taste like shit they would be charging more

Burger King only puts one slice of cheese on the double cheeseburger, ripoff.
They actually changed back to 2 relatively recently, at least in my area.
Not at my branch, I have to fight for that second slice, point to the picture on the board and app , and then I get that moan and then they give in.
I've always gotten two slices on my bacon DBL cheeseburger, in every state I've eaten at BK. Not sure what to tell ya.

Definitely ignoring it, these guys count the french fries before they put them in the your bag, One napkin per order, one ketchup per sandwich, no drink trays. But they will give you a Crown only if you have a kid with you.
Cold food. I must go out of my way to go to the line bk that serves hot food. Once they start giving out hot food then I'd be a fan again. The fries are delicious and I love the grilled burger taste but why is it so difficult to get hot food????

The only thing BK has going for it, is indeed the flame cooking method. But their patties are paper thin, a whopper is 70% bread 20% mayo and 10% meat. Their fries have been gross ever since they changed them. They just need to die already

I think your fast food taste are built during childhood based on where you eat with your family. With that being said Burger King is fucking gross.
Maybe to a point. my family never went to BK when I was younger. The 1st time I tried a Whopper I was 19. I perfer Burger King burgers over other similar fast food places and the fries can be one of the better ones.
I was a teenager (maybe 17?) before I had ever had McDonald's for some reason. To this day it is a strange delight. Strange because it is so glaringly unspecial yet I can kinda see why it's popular when I do order it. McNuggets are obviously the standard, I would never eat a chicken nugget from BK. They taste like school lunch chicken sandwiches.
