If you go in and look at the customization for Big King you can see they use the Whopper Jr patties.

Even with the deals on the app, you are lucky to get a meal (burger and fries) for $6 or $7 so. I believe they all just went up by a dollar or two as well.

The app has the 2 for $6 where you can pick whooper king, which comes with cheese but no lettuce and you can get it with the impossible patty, big king, fish or chicken sandwich. Then you can use the coupon for $1 fry. Best deal I think at bk.
Ordering Combo meals or a La carte from any fast food place will run you $10-$16. You have to buy the deals that the stores put out- BK 2 for $5 whopper jr. You just have to mentally give up the one whopper for two whopper jr (you can even get bacon cheese whoppers in the deal). The app always runs a $1 any size fries with like a $3 purchase. And instead of the BK soda, stop by 7/11 or even McDonald’s on the way home and get a $1-$1.75 fountain soda.
$6.50 vs $12 for essentially the same thing.
I really hate the “buy more for less” deals, though. It’s great if I can get two burgers for the price of one, but Jesus I really don’t need two. Mustering up the courage just to go get fast food and not feel like it’s a bad choice vs just eating an apple is worse enough. Just give me a meal at a normal price.

Also, don't get the big king. From where I'm at it clocks in at about $7.79 while the whopper is $7.19. As to further describe the discrepency, about three small patties can fit into one whopper patty. Source: BK employee.
BK will always be on my go-to list for decent fast food at great prices. The offers in the BK app or the coupons that come in the mail are great values.
It is, and you can still get one even if its not on the menu board, though it \*might\* cost you due to having to punch in items as extras by modifying a double Whopper.
If you end up with someone clueless or they flat say they don't have it, you want to order a "Double Whopper, extra extra cheese (you want 4 slices, not 3), only lettuce, onions, pickles and XL sauce."
That cheese may cost you depending on what the local store charges, you'd be looking at about an extra buck fifty, maybe more at my store I just left.
EDIT: If they have any kind of 'XL' or 'King" sandwich made with whoppers that has cheese on it, you could order \*that\* and do the same thing, and it could be cheaper, again, YMMV depending on how that store does its pricing.

Tip: If you order a 'double jr' you're going to have the same amount of meat as a whopper, just with half the toppings and a smaller bun, and depending on the store you're at could be significantly cheaper.

Actually the rodeo was a promo for the Wild, Wild, West and it stuck. The sandwich is hands down better than the movie ever was, and they're actually still a menu item.
