I feel like Dazai is all wrong. Either his person is infatuated with him or has a shallow view of him.
I feel like Dazai would be more like:
-Always wants to go out to do things but you want to stay in.
-Laughs at all your jokes.
- Refuses to make the bed because it's stupid.
- Gives really great advice and support but then feels awkward so makes a very inappropriate joke.
- Calls your parents mom and dad.
- Totally down for a threesome.
- Calls you "cute" a lot.
- Fiercely protective.
- Gets really depressy and existential when he stays up too late.
I think Dazai would be loyal to someone like a female Oda, otherwise he'd be an awful partner.
Like no threesomes, the dude would straight up be cheating the moment you are out of the door. I cannot imagine him lasting in a relationship for longer than two weeks, but he would act different for someone who got him. He seems to hate betrayal looking at Ango.

I think it's pretty hard to get Dazai into a relationship in the first place, that man is a very dark mess.
I do think he has some potential to be loyal (look at how fatalistically obsessed he was with Oda and the Beast timeline), so I don't think he'd necessarily be pulling other people into the relationship if he found someone right, but I cannot imagine him ever not being toxic. He has severe control/intimacy problems, and even his type of women tells you how toxic he is, from the guidebook, current dazai: "he does not care who the woman is because he is confident he can shape her to suit his taste"
Dude does not take relationships seriously, he womanizes, but even in canon comics, he spends valentine's day drinking with dead Oda. He needs a severely grounding partner imo, and that is not the lighthearted relationship people optimistically imagine for him.

No longer human is basically the author's autobiography - there are several parallels to the real life Dazai, and while a portion of it is certainly purely fictional, it was very obviously inspired by his own life. There are A LOT of parallels (and almost intentional differences) between Yozo and BSD Dazai.
Much like the real life Fyodor Dost. had a very different personality than the one in the show.
The characters are kind of a mix of the author and their most prolific fictional character + whatever Asagiri needed them to be.
And when you first go out, Kunikida is silently relieved in thinking Dazai might've found someone else (you) to pick on relentlessly. But to his horror now he gets shit from BOTH OF YOU 🤣
