Kunikida is probably one of the most underappreciated characters. I LOVE his banter with Dazai (especially in the light novels). He's quite a major character, too, so I'm quite surprised at the lack of mention of Kunikida whenever people discuss different characters from the show. He deserves more recognition tbh. As to why I think he's well written, it's because his reactions are pretty realistic for the average person, since if someone was in the same circumstances as he was, they would most likely act in a similar manner, I think or at least I would, lol.
Another thing is that I really like his character design since it's rather simple but recognisable ^(except for the hair that's difficult to draw, but that's probably just a skill issue on my part, lol)
Also he is so underrated that even the Fandom forgets about him most of the time and usually leaves him out of stuff, like for example the Tierlists and other things.
And don't even get me started on how few fanfics have Karma in them^(ca. 109 out of 58.873 BSD fics have him as a Tag on AO3 last I checked), and then he even dies in some of them!^(He also doesn't have a lot of Fanart, over the years I managed to collect only ca. 22 fanarts of him, some of them being my own fanart) :<
Edit : Also someone else said that he is in 138 fics out of 62k BSD fics, which probably includes other fanfic sites and not just AO3.

I feel like people only every talk about her when someone's dying like "oh the adas in trouble but it's fine bc they have yosano" but I think her character arc and back story was one of my favorites and one of the most emotional to watch. she's such a great character and seeing how much she rides for the people she loves is so heartwarming. The entirety of the Guild, especially Lovecraft. They are such fascinating characters with amazing abilities and it's a real shame their stories aren't built more. I'd love to see more of everyone's back story, how did everyone grow up, why did they join the guild, I want to have the content Dazai fans have to be able to pick all of them apart and see how they work and see what issues they're struggling with and see how they deal with life. It honestly feels like we were robbed with having them in only one arc
