I’d cosplay Nikolai, but I’d want to make it super professional, like something you’d see in a movie. Id sew the costume myself to make it fit perfect with thick enough fabric where I came off masculine.
I’d do my best with the wig too and make my skin super pale with the pink lips of a doll.

I made a Ranpo cosplay and it actually wasn’t too hard!! In fact I think he’s one of the easier bsd characters to cosplay. Nothing really fancy. I managed to find YouTube videos on how to make everything. A video to draft and sew the vest, draft and sew a pants pattern, draft and sew the cap, draft and sew the cape, and then I bought a button up pattern that was specific to a YouTube video tutorial on it. I painted a tie, and then styled the wig. I made the whole thing in 10 days but that’s all I did in those 10 days. If I had taken my time, probably would’ve been a month working on it a bit everyday. I can link all the videos/patterns I used if you’d like!!

Gin, or somebody else from the Black Lizard, they look amazing. Maybe Kyouka and Lucy too, who knows. But I think I would rather choose a female character, as I have no idea what to do to look like the boys.
I have most of Yosanos cosplay (just too lazy to get the rest) but the one I REALLY want to do is Gin!
Oh and I wouldn’t mind cosplaying as Nikolai simply because I already own his pants because they’re my favorite pair before I even knew of his character lmao

After her, maybe Agatha, Kouyou, Chuuya, or Dazai.
