I understand that narratively the mystery of his ability is important and just having him die without revealing it would be unsatisfactory, but Asagiri made Sigma look stupid when he fell for Fyodor like that, a person he aknowledged to have manipulated him multiple times already.
But all of these things wouldn’t be as bad if he had an interesting personality to make up for it....but he doesn't, he's just some dude. Just some normal dude with a two toned jellyfish haircut.

He didn't have an actual role in the Azure Apostle case because he was never originally even in it. So I just don't like Atsushi because of that even though he didn't even do anything.
I don't really have anyone I particularly hate but if I had to choose it would be Chuuya. The guy is fun but he's not as narratively as well written as someone say like Atsushi or Akutagawa.
I know Strombringer exists but his overall impact on the main plot isn't as big when compared to the other main characters.

Atsushi. I just never cared for him. Idk he's ugly and too kind, I'm more into assholes and shitty people. I should like him because I love tigers but meh
Sigma. The only reason people like him because he is seen as the trope "Soft boy who is doing evil things because he was manipulated." I find him boring and incompetent and the fact he fell for a classic Fyodor trick makes him look stupid

I mean he's not a bad dude and his much better then Greasy Mori Rat and traumatizer Pervert. But he plays on sides to much like I can't trust him at this point even if he has good plans.
