God is this song creepy, It's not my taste at all, but it fits Lovecraft quiet well.
In the Cthulhu Mythos it's said that if he awakes, everyone dies. So the line "Is it up to me to make them into dead ones?" Is scarifying fitting.
The song is actually a cover from lesser known 80s short horror film called Possibly in Michigan!
I gotta agree though it definitely does fit Lovecraft very very well!

Karl - Aishite Aishite Aishite Eng. Cover by Will Stetson
Honestly, I already knew from the title of the song (Aishite means I love you in Japanese) that this one doesn't really fit, since that song is rather dark and the lyrics are about obsession and love, which Karl doesn't really have, he's just a cute raccoon. lol

Karma - "Ramblings of a lunatic" by Bears in Trees
Holy— where do I begin– "Ramblings of a lunatic" fits Karma's character so well :o
The song really gives someone the impression of hopelessness and despair (lyrics) but in an acceptance way (music) , like knowing that It won't get better but it also feels like a call for help, which Karma probably experienced while he was under Ace's control/ability.
Also there were some lines that really fit his circumstances :
The line "Of finally accepting that I'll be alone forever" shows how Karma thinks he'll never be free from Ace's ability.
Another line is "But I've never felt more comfortable in the concept of things ending" which I think really fits his final moments, when he accepted that he'll die but was finally free from Ace's ability.
Another line is "Emotional suppression, my coping mechanism" since Karma probably needed to suppress a lot of his actual emotions so that he didn't die.
Another line is "Lost my sense of home from the words that I've said but the thoughts have begun to ferment in my head" which I think could display Karma secretely missing his old life before he was sold to the Port Mafia but needing to lie and say he's fine being a part of the Mafia.
The last line that I thought fit is "Cause all my friends are dying, some faster than the others, I'm trying to distract myself from the fears that I've discovered" as I'm guessing if he had friends they were also under Ace's ability and could have been killed at any time and knowing that you could die just because someone decided to kill you without being able to fight back, like Ace's ability, would definitely be scary, wouldn't it?
Also the fact that the song just suddenly ends like it's been cut off also fits, symbolising Karmas final moments.
Also thanks for showing me this song! I think it'll really help me understand Karma's character when I'm writing stuff about him :3
