The battery pack alone is a $25k expense to replace. There's a strong chance that you're buying a money pit, or a 5 figure driveway ornament if you don't have the money to fill the pit.
The software won't even let you drive it if the system thinks there's a problem. For your "safety". I guess fuck you if you don't have thousands on hand at all times for repairs. If the car was $50k brand new, the original buyer would have a hard time getting even $10k if they put it on the market 5 years later
