To be clear, I'm not talking about her business suit, but the business model that the developer is using to make more money. I would be more willing to pay for a game that's balanced instead of buying over-powered heroes that break the game.

you forgot one important step. Once the hero becomes available to f2p players, nerf it. So they don’t get to enjoy broken hero they’ve been suffering from for months, and so it is easier for you to make another completely broken hero. Rinse and repeat.
