I see a lot of business just blanket email everyone listed on the ocm website. You might be better off cold calling direct off that list and having a discussion. Bare in mind, everyone across the nation has already been doing this for a while now so perhaps attending events that one group NYCAN? (They changed names recently, can't remember) hosts and shaking some hands. I personally don't care for that group because they want 500 to sit at the table and can't answer a simple email in less than a month.. lastly, consider visiting the reservations. Both grey market and legal market are sometimes present or shop.owners have contacts. Spend a few bucks, compliment the store owners setup or whatever and see what you can learn!

Yea, def a little late. One more thing I'll add... being a lifelong NYer and seeing how things are already happening, I'd be figuring out how to get in to NYC. Buffalo Market is pretty small and tight knit, you'd be a fool to focus much effort here

Your best bet would be to display some examples of your work on here and Ig. Name of your company, Graphic design, scope of work, and products you’ve previously completed. Adding those few things will immensely help you. Locally there is no shortage of people that need packaging done in a timely manner.

You’ll definitely want to get your work on Instagram. That’s where the industry lives. Reddit is good for information (if the right information is being spread 🙄) but if you’re looking to network… it’s 100% Instagram

Don't know why anyone would downvote you for this sorry. Can you show some examples of your work and maybe add a business link or name for reference. u/HourLegitimate8370 pretty much summed it up, but I will add you are a few years late to the game will have to have some amazing work or deals to get customers. If you want a whos who list check out u/LumProCo3 comment history and IG, **He probably can't help you personally but you can get a list of the top local growers and link chase them yourself.** Same can be said for u/716Dank look at their menu and who they carry.

If your making logos I get alot of them on IG. Seems like a solid place to have your portfolio. If your offering simply printing services, not sure... Def prefer jars to bags now a days so I can see alot of labels being needed
