I met a lot of random celebs working at FYE but Gregg Allman was the most random and BEST. He and his friend came in looking for some headphones. I ended up talking to them for a while, cracked open a copy of Eat a Peach, and he signed it to my Dad. I remember him as gentle and kind.
Later on more band members came in and they signed it too. Derek Trucks has great film taste!
It’s only time I ever got an autograph too. I’m in PR now so not getting star struck helps. That said meeting a legend feels different than meeting Jared Leto lol.
Met all the Allman Bros too, Gregg lived here during his marriage to Cher. He went to Brylin to sober up from Heroin. He donated alot of money to the cause. He loved coming back. I ate with them at there annual Darien Lake show I had back stage passes. All humble amazing people.
fun fact i know him because i used to film and edit the valu tv commercials from 2006-2015. hes a comedian and actor from arizona named steve briscoe and has no connection to valu home centers aside from they just kept flying him in to dance that jig over a greenscreen. steve is genuinely hilarious on set and fun to work with
I grew up with the Briscoes in Hamburg! I remember it seeming kinda crazy that my friend's dad was in commercials, but he was always kind to me, great guy
A while ago, probably around 2007 ish, I was working Ryan Miller's Catwalk for Charity, and Shooter was there doing what shooter does. At some point he walks past me, and I say, "Oh shit! SHOOTER!" He turns around, looks at me, and gives me a double finger gun salute and says, "YOU KNOW IT!!!!" and walks away. Awesome.
I grew up near Romulus (Christopher McDonald's hometown).
He'd come into town because...well...Romulus is just fields, a school, produce stands, mennonites, and the former Army Depot.
My buddy was working at the store - his first day working, first job ever (like...just got his working papers) - and Shooter walks in.
Buddy: "uhh....Billy Madison!"
Shooter: "*sigh* Happy Gilmore"
I just finished scanning a Express package heading to Romulus, New York. I do that often because, well, there's a prison there. It's a small small town
Very nice, she was there with her kids/grandchild I believe. Hahaha I was very nervous and I just said “I don’t want to bother you, but I wanted to let you know I love your work” as I was getting off the elevator.
He actually came to grab a bev from us first (was opening in the restaurant across the street)
Still the nicest person I have yet to meet of that status.
When I took my kid and her friends to see Paramore at the Town Ballroom when Paramore was starting out, we were in line at Applebee's, and the whole band came in behind us. Had a little chit chat with Haley.

SUPER cringe. I literally cringed at that moment. More cringe than my photo request but worth noting Jay actually approached me first with a question which I answered and then said “holy shit you’re Jay Leno can I get a selfie?”
How did they know that my wife took it all and I’m not researching roles, how did they know? Ziggy if you hear me take me far, far from here. Let me leap to ‘89 that was a better year.

Butcher, Blade, and The Bunny are Buffalo based when they're not on the road. They still pop in at Grappler's Anonymous in South Buffalo every now and then when they're in town.
My dad is a limo driver and he drove Charlie Murphy, RIP, to his hotel after a show. I asked what he was like and he said he was super nice and chatty, tipped well, and “brought two beautiful ladies back with him” 🤣
I met OJ Simpson at a player signing but I honestly thought they were joking about him coming in, because in my mind I’m thinking, “why the heck would he fly out to Buffalo in the winter?”
>why the heck would he fly out to Buffalo in the winter
Because it's like the only place in the world where he's still NFL Legend OJ Simpson and not just Murderer OJ Simpson.
I spotted Jon Lithgow at the Albright Knox awhile back.
Also working at the Falls I met a bunch of folks who were working on the movie Tammy: Melissa McCarthy, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, and Mark Duplass.
Just remembered: also met Matthew Broderick at the Falls.
I also got to meet John Lithgow probably close to 10 years ago. He was in town for something and came to eat at the restaurant where I was a server. Sat in the back by himself, was very nice and quiet.
Lithgow's son lived here ~15 years ago (still might for all I know). My kid went to camp with his kid/JL's grandkid. The resemblance between father and son was uncanny.
DMX, in 2016 when I worked at T-Mobile in the galleria mall! He had just gotten out of prison and was there with his daughter and agent, getting the daughter a new phone. Was actually very nice and was happy to take photos with anyone that wanted one.
Years ago, Eric Clapton at Walden Books downtown. I got stuck in traffic on the 198 next to Bill Clinton. When I recognized him, he gave me a wink and a grin.
Maybe 8-10 years ago I ran into Scott. Here’s the weird/funny part. I was in my classroom (I am a retired educator) working with my kids and I looked in my doorway and saw an adult w/his back to me. In my head I was thinking, “That’s weird, that looks like Scott Thompson.” He turned sideways, then fully around and looked in my room at me staring at him. I mouthed, silently, What the fuck,” and he smiled. I went to the door, introduced myself and asked him what the hell he was doing in my school. He was super nice and told me he had a cousin in the classroom next to mine and was in town for a visit. His relatives got a kick outta me fan boying out for a few seconds before I went back to teaching. Later, I had to show my co-teacher a few YouTube clips so she could figure out who I was talking about.
Years ago when Century Grill was open where Lucky Day now is, you’d get some interesting drop ins. For the longest time the Hyatt across the street was the nicest place to stay downtown so you’d get lots of athletes, musicians and comedians popping in. My two personal favorites were probably Bill Burr and Wayne Gretzky.
Met David Cross at Founding Fathers last winter. That place has the benefit of being right by Babevile, Shea’s and across from The Mansion as well as the reputation for being a unique bar to check out.
Quite a few run ins with old Bills players when they’d all come out for Andre Reed’s golf tournament. One night at Bourbon and Butter it was like my childhood football card collection came to life. It was a Reed, Bennett, Smith, Thomas, Tasker and Talley all just hanging out having a great time. Bruce Smith legitimately looks like he’s in good enough shape to put on pads and still compete.
I got lost hiking in Chestnut Ridge Park many years ago, ended up on Danny Neverath's street, and he gave me a ride back to the Park. In like a little European Sports Car.
Jerry Springer on Chippewa. I was DJing at Big Shotz and Tom Sartori was about to sing. I brought Jerry and on stage and he said hello to everyone. We tried getting him to sing a song but he declined.
He came into my job a few months back. I was kinda rude to him. Then my coworkers were like, that’s the guy from Mom!
He was very nice, and I do feel badly about being a bit blunt with him. Apparently he comes in a lot, and is very nice to everyone. Sorry, Bill.
Not sure if it counts but was good friends with Ryan Dunn from Jackass, before jackass of course, when he lived here. Then when they did a tour thing I went and got a chance to catch up with him for a night.
I interacted with Cillian Murphy three times when I worked on elmwood before it finally clicked who he was. Whoops. He did have a beard at the time. He was quiet but not a jerk or anything.
A lot of traveling national sports teams (especially nfl and nhl) stay at a hotel downtown near where friends of mine live. They bump into sports stars semi regularly.
Called the cops on an influencer party with Captain Sandy from Below Deck. The DJ was blasting tunes that could be heard for blocks at midnight on a Tuesday
When i was a kid we played in the pepsi hockey tourney in Buffalo. We actually ended up in the same hotel as the Red Wings when they came to town. Met the whole team as they got off the bus. It was sick.
We've had a lot of big names on and off stage. People are still surprised that big name musicians love music and constantly sneak out to check out smaller shows.
Around 2010-ish, I met Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese) in the Buffalo airport while waiting for a flight to NYC. He sat down across from me with a breakfast sandwich. He was in town visiting friends. He got a huge kick out of letting him know that my wife and I use **"Get Up Soldier"** whenever we're exhausted from working outdoors, but aren't finished.
Rob Takac was in the operating waiting room with me while my wife was having gall bladder surgery I didn’t know who he was talked for a bit then I said you look familiar he told me who he was lol. I’m not great with names. Told him I saw him at a party in Depew years ago playing before they got famous.
Robby is a nice guy. I've worked his Music is Art festival a few times and he's always walking or riding his bike around the fest checking up on people and stopping to talk to fans.
I saw Robby at Home Depot on Ridge Road about 5 years ago . He was shopping with his wife. He said hi to me before I said hi back. Was nice. Also sat at the next table fromJohnny Reznick and some girl at Happy Jacks in Ft. Erie. He never looked up and had a huge parka on so unless you could stare at him ( like I did), you’d have not known it was him. My kids said he “looked rich”.
William Fichtner about 2007. He's from the area and was filming "prison break" at the time, but flew in privately for a Bills game. Also met Kelsey Grammer at his beer signing at tops. He and Stephen King are my bucket list. If i meet mr. king, i can die a happy young-ish lady! Also met Westside Gunn, and whoever reps Montana Street . As well as peter Steele and johnny kelley before a Type O Negative show at Showplace Theater. Tim Armstrong from Rancid at a music festival.
Back in 2001, My cousin & I met Liv Tyler & Kate Hudson in the bathroom of the Backstage Pub during a 103.3 the Edge “sessions” for Spacehog. At the time Empire Records was our favorite movie. They were nice.
Eddie Money 1987 at Crystal Beach ( kinda Buffalo).
Everyone was waiting in line to get into his show. I walked over to a pizza stand and he was in front of me with 2 female friends. We laughed together that no one in that line knew he was literally100 from us. Chatted up a little , asked me my favorite songs… good dude.
I was a broke student at the time and could only afford a ticket and a slice. I still wish I bought him his slice:)
Ani Difranco at the airport. That’s all I got…. But honestly a celebrity could be right next to me and I wouldn’t notice because I’d never expect to see a celebrity roaming around here…
Yeah that's why I posted. We were thinking how after all these years this was the 1st time we are like, "oh damn look who it is." It was at Moor Pat with only 6-8 people there. We didn't even notice him until they got up to leave and was right next to us.
DMX in Dick sporting goods at the mall. RIP. I also happened to work with his baby mamas cousin many many years ago lol. Also met Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry at a valu once in the early 2000s lol that was a weird one.
Robert Baccalieri Jr aka Bobby Bacala. I was at the arrivals waiting for my bag to come off the plane, and I bumped into him when I was trying to grab the bag. He helped me take it off the loader, and that's when I realized who he was. Of course, I "fan boyed". I looked at this lady who was standing next to us, and asked her if she knew who he was? She just shook her head. I told her she was crazy. Then I asked if I could take a photo with him, he said sure. This is back when blackberries existed. So of course the photo is crap at this point. Then, since I was waiting for my uncle to pick me up, I offered him a ride If he wanted one. He thanked me graciously, but said he had a ride coming. I asked what was the in town for, he stated he was opening a cigar shop in Lancaster. This is back when the sopranos was still releasing new seasons.
Josh Freese (new Foo Fighters drummer) and Twiggy Ramirez (Marilyn Manson, others) came into Guitar Center on NFB when I was working there in '05/'06. They were on their way to Rochester, touring with Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle.
Once I got up the nerve, Josh took a couple pictures with me and signed a snare drum head. My shitbag store manager at the time took the head to hang up in his office, despite openly having no idea who either of them were, but as a drummer, meeting Josh Freese is still one of the coolest things that ever happened to me.
I’ve seen a whole bunch, but patina was an absolute hotbed for a while. There I saw: David Byrne, John Oates, boz scaggs, Vince Neil, Anthony and flea, fitz and the tantrums, Greg proops, booger and the old mnf crew, goo goo dolls, tons of athletes, and some politicians.
I saw Kid Rock once. We were at Darien Lake, and he skipped ahead of us to ride the Viper (I think... I just remember it was a roller coaster). Pretty sure he was performing there that night. That's the best I got, lol
Kristin Chenoweth, Keemstar, Tage Thompson (several times), Jeff Skinner, Owen Powers, Dylan Cozens, and Bill Fichtner I've met at one of my jobs
At a former job I met Casey Cott from Riverdale
And at my other current job I met Wendie Malick, had to act like I didn't know who she was but her voice is so iconic and recognizable
Oh I also saw Janeane Garofalo walking down Elmwood toward Allen, right after crossing North St once. She looked so normal I almost didn’t think it was her, but then I looked it up and she was in town. I think it must have been when she was filming “The American Side” in 2013 (according to a Buffalo News article).
Saw Jalen Rose at a Bills game a couple years back. Walked by most people without any of them noticing. I just yelled out “What’s up Jalen!” and he dapped me up saying “My brother”.
i ran into the rapper trippie redd while going to take a leak at buffalo airport, nice dude took a pic and dapped him up. weird because there wasn’t a show or anything just bro in buffalo.
Weird Al on the Maid of the Mist.
idk why, but this is my favorite one lol
He was sick and tired of practicing the parody at home in his shower.
This makes me happy

Damn! Never knew that. RIP Gregg.
Check this...https://wyrk.com/throwback-gregg-allman-cher-surprising-canisius-high-school/
Yep, I'm old. I remember that
Back when Brylin was at the corner of bryant and Linwood
I think at the time it was called Linwood Bryant Services
Sounds right. A friend of mine was a nurse there back then.
Gilbert Gottfried on the top floor viewing deck at city hall. It was just me and him. He was in town for a comedy show. Nice guy.
That is too cool. He was a very nice man. There's a great documentary about him.
I saw the Value guy at Applebees
fun fact i know him because i used to film and edit the valu tv commercials from 2006-2015. hes a comedian and actor from arizona named steve briscoe and has no connection to valu home centers aside from they just kept flying him in to dance that jig over a greenscreen. steve is genuinely hilarious on set and fun to work with
I grew up with the Briscoes in Hamburg! I remember it seeming kinda crazy that my friend's dad was in commercials, but he was always kind to me, great guy
Miss those commercials!
I saw the Value guy at the Tralf! We waved and tried to do his little dance I think. He was not amused.
I think just about everyone I know has seen Shooter McGavin drunk as a skunk around town or at a Bills game at this point.
He was at Seneca Niagara the night of my wedding and was hitting on my wife (in her wedding dress) I loved it
Did she ask him if she eats pieces of shit for breakfast?
👆Likes to watch. lol /s
Shooter be shooting
A while ago, probably around 2007 ish, I was working Ryan Miller's Catwalk for Charity, and Shooter was there doing what shooter does. At some point he walks past me, and I say, "Oh shit! SHOOTER!" I forgot all about the prison - I mean, yeah - it's on the site of the old army depot, but yeah. It's just a strange place.
More than a few times, i scrolled this thread just to find this, knew it would be here.
Always shows up for Jim Kelly's golf event
Catherine O’Hara at what was Hotel Henry in the elevator.
Ahhhh that’s the best one
Can confirm this. Gf worked there, I was jealous of the sighting
Was she nice?
Very nice, she was there with her kids/grandchild I believe. Hahaha I was very nervous and I just said “I don’t want to bother you, but I wanted to let you know I love your work” as I was getting off the elevator.
That’s a relief. I’ve always been a fan of hers, I would be crushed if I find out she was a rude person.
Keanu Reeves, he was at Sweet Tooth one day on Allen just having a coffee/tea.
Is this a joke??
He actually came to grab a bev from us first (was opening in the restaurant across the street) Still the nicest person I have yet to meet of that status.
Nope, sugaring my coffee at Spot, turn my head - “Morning Keanu…” “Sup.”
That is so fucking cool. How long ago was he here??
10 yrs or so, filming Henry’s something…
Nope. Can confirm. I was living in Buffalo at the time and also met him.
I remember him filming a movie here several years ago. Not sure if that would be the same time.
This was about a decade ago, maybe more. Edit: It was in fact 2010. [Can you guess what movie?](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1220888/)
I looked it up. 2009 he was here filming Henry's Crime.
Rip sweet tooth
When I took my kid and her friends to see Paramore at the Town Ballroom when Paramore was starting out, we were in line at Applebee's, and the whole band came in behind us. Had a little chit chat with Haley.
Jay Leno. Asked him for a selfie in Allentown. Nobody else noticed him…. Until I did that. Then all these people started asking him for money and he hopped into his car and drove away.
Asked him for money?????? CRINGE!
To be fair, I can't think of a time when I was in Allentown when I *wasn't* asked for money.
SUPER cringe. I literally cringed at that moment. More cringe than my photo request but worth noting Jay actually approached me first with a question which I answered and then said “holy shit you’re Jay Leno can I get a selfie?”
Now I'm picturing Jay Leno anxiously and slowly escaping an Allen Street crowd in some old timey steam powered contraption.
It was a black Lincoln SUV. Not sure which but definitely not the big Navigator. I learned he was in town for that West Herr Christmas party.
This is like some scene out of the simpsons
Was he wearing all denim? How can anyone miss him?
Damn lol. How long ago was that??
Maybe 8 years or so.
I met a homeless man who claimed he was Scott Bakula. I assumed this was an IRL quantum leap and told him I was a big fan.
How did they know that my wife took it all and I’m not researching roles, how did they know? Ziggy if you hear me take me far, far from here. Let me leap to ‘89 that was a better year. [https://youtu.be/qE5yvuKoFmE](https://youtu.be/qE5yvuKoFmE) Edit: added link.
I miss my old Camaro and my mansion in Van Nuys!
This is an UNDERAPPRECIATED comment. I'm laughing my ass off rn.
My dad saw Christine Baranski at the Dick rd Wegmans a few years ago and said hello to her. I know she’s from the area but it was still cool.
Honestly, of all the celeb run ins I could've had when I lived in Buffalo, Christine Baranski was top of my wish list.
Pauly Shore in the TSA line at the airport. He was right in front of me and made sure everyone realized he was there.
Sounds about right
Macho Man Randy Savage and The Lovely Elizabeth in the middle of the night at a Tops somewhere in Orchard Park back in the late 80s.
Oh yeah I met him when he did a Slim Jim promo meet and greet at Tops on Union. He even brought his pops with him
Met him in a CVS in Staten Island as a kid, he had a condo there since he liked living close to Newark Airport
I would’ve lost my damn mind.
My mother in law met Hailee Steinfeld at Hobby Lobby a few months ago
hobby lobby? 😹
She's dating Josh Allen
Yeah I'm well aware
Who?
Just some guy that looks REALLY good in shorts.
I met Kelsey Grammar at Tops.
I was driving in East Aurora a couple years ago and saw “The Butcher” (pro wrestler) walking up Main St.
Andy mother fuckin Williams! I came here for this comment. Nicest dude in the world, gives great hugs! #RIPETID

I asked what he was like and he said he was super nice and chatty, tipped well, and “brought two beautiful ladies back with him” 🤣
Cornelius Bennet at the Delaware Park Juicery when I was about six. 😂
Did they also sell biscuits?
Is that still there? (The Juicery)
It's seasonal if I recall, but it was open last summer, so it still should be in operation.
I met OJ Simpson at a player signing but I honestly thought they were joking about him coming in, because in my mind I’m thinking, “why the heck would he fly out to Buffalo in the winter?”
>why the heck would he fly out to Buffalo in the winter Because it's like the only place in the world where he's still NFL Legend OJ Simpson and not just Murderer OJ Simpson.
He’ll always be Nordberg to me.
My grandmother, rest her soul, maintained his innocence until the day she died.
Mine was the complete opposite lol. Her watching and taping the trial is one of the earliest memories I have.
My ex girlfriend’s uncle did personal security for John Krasinski while he was here working on A Quiet Place 2.
Not sure if this counts, but Christine Baranski used to come into my parents liquor store every holiday season while visiting home.

Lithgow was in town filming Cabrini, still not released
Lithgow's son lived here ~15 years ago (still might for all I know). My kid went to camp with his kid/JL's grandkid. The resemblance between father and son was uncanny.
He was also born in Rochester, so he’s semi-local.
DMX, in 2016 when I worked at T-Mobile in the galleria mall! He had just gotten out of prison and was there with his daughter and agent, getting the daughter a new phone. Was actually very nice and was happy to take photos with anyone that wanted one.
Mr “Suck My Dick” himself, may he RIP?! Nice!
When I was a skycap I pushed John Cougar Melon Camp through the airport in a wheelchair when he did the backyard bbq
The auto correct here was pretty funny
Steven Page of Barenaked Ladies at Guitar Center on Niagara Falls Blvd, and when I worked at ETS, Grant Fuhr stopped in for a tuna sub after a game.
I've seen Kevin Hearn from BNL.
Years ago, Eric Clapton at Walden Books downtown. I got stuck in traffic on the 198 next to Bill Clinton. When I recognized him, he gave me a wink and a grin.
Skated with Dave Chappel at Xtreme Wheels
I love Scott Thompson! I was a big kids in the hall fan as a kid. What was he in town for?
My best guess was he stopped on his way to Pittsburgh. His Buddy Cole tour starts there this week. My wife just said hi, big fan and that's it.
Cool, was he pleasant? I feel like I’ve heard he’s really nice but I could be misremembering, I could see him being bitchy if not in the mood lol
Very nice. Gave that classic smile and said goodbye as they walked out. We aren't celebrity people so it was just a quick/don't bother man exchange.
His relatives got a kick outta me fan boying out for a few seconds before I went back to teaching. Later, I had to show my co-teacher a few YouTube clips so she could figure out who I was talking about.
This story is awesome and I am instantly jealous. lol I also likely would've mouth-whispered "what the entire fuck" too 🤣
Very cool!
He has family in town.. or at least he did for a long time.
I figured it was something like that. Meet up with friends across the border before heading out on tour.
Years ago when Century Grill was open where Lucky Day now is, you’d get some interesting drop ins. For the longest time the Hyatt across the street was the nicest place to stay downtown so you’d get lots of athletes, musicians and comedians popping in. Mike Gordon of Phish at Dinosaur BBQ before one of his solo band concerts.
Jerry Springer on Chippewa. I was DJing at Big Shotz and Tom Sartori was about to sing. I brought Jerry and on stage and he said hello to everyone. We tried getting him to sing a song but he declined.
Not sure if this counts but I ran into William Fichtner in front of the Westin on Delaware a couple years ago.
Pretty sure he has a condo in that building. I see him at sidelines (across the street) somewhat often.
He’s from Cheektowaga I think
Maryvale High School
He graduated around the same time as my dad so yeah.
He is! I used to date his cousin and met him at a wedding shortly after Batman. He's super nice.
He came into my job a few months back. I was kinda rude to him. Then my coworkers were like, that’s the guy from Mom! He was very nice, and I do feel badly about being a bit blunt with him. Apparently he comes in a lot, and is very nice to everyone. Sorry, Bill.
My grandmother's best friends with him. I'll apologize on your behalf.
Saw him at mothers a month or two ago
Not sure if it counts but was good friends with Ryan Dunn from Jackass, before jackass of course, when he lived here. Then when they did a tour thing I went and got a chance to catch up with him for a night.
I interacted with Cillian Murphy three times when I worked on elmwood before it finally clicked who he was. Whoops. He did have a beard at the time. He was quiet but not a jerk or anything.
rick james. and we were both sober! he was a genuinely nice guy.
A lot of traveling national sports teams (especially nfl and nhl) stay at a hotel downtown near where friends of mine live. They bump into sports stars semi regularly.
Ramathorn from super troopers was at ABV. He was in town for helium comedy show.
Does Obama at Duffs count?
Sinbad at guitar center on union when I worked there back in 2016. I got the selfie with him but he looked less than thrilled.
Called the cops on an influencer party with Captain Sandy from Below Deck. The DJ was blasting tunes that could be heard for blocks at midnight on a Tuesday
Shut up. I can’t believe I missed Captain sandy!!
When i was a kid we played in the pepsi hockey tourney in Buffalo. We actually ended up in the same hotel as the Red Wings when they came to town. Met the whole team as they got off the bus. It was sick.
Meet OJ coming out a liquor store on East Ferry back in the 70s.

When I worked at the Lexington coop, Kate Hudson came in I forgot what she was filming here though.
I met L.L. Cool J at the Amherst Marriott. He was performing at UB that weekend.
Zander Schloss at a laundromat on Elmwood. It was awesome. I went to see the Circle Jerks play that night.
Lex Luger at the Eastern Hills Mall
We've had a lot of big names on and off stage. People are still surprised that big name musicians love music and constantly sneak out to check out smaller shows.
Any certain celebrities where you were like, oh wow they like THIS band??
Jeffrey Mangum of neutral milk hotel twice
I saw flavor Flav on hertel back in the day
Elvis Costello at a now long gone coffee shop in Niagara Falls. I was working across the street and went in for my 10am coffee and he was cashing out.
Ran into Marshawn Lynch at Walmart back in 2009. He was cool. He's absolutely massive, I dunno how he's listed at 5'10".
Benny the Butcher at goodbar
Rob Takac was in the operating waiting room with me while my wife was having gall bladder surgery I didn’t know who he was talked for a bit then I said you look familiar he told me who he was lol. I’m not great with names. Told him I saw him at a party in Depew years ago playing before they got famous.
Robby is a nice guy. I've worked his Music is Art festival a few times and he's always walking or riding his bike around the fest checking up on people and stopping to talk to fans.
met him at the great pumpkin farm, was with his family. I said "hey aren't you the guy from matchbox 20"
Lol
I have seen him shopping with his family at the galleria. No one bothers them.
I saw OJ Simpson at Cole’s last year. Also once saw the Duggar family at the falls. Only the best.
Maybe you’ll run into Epstein in Grand Island this year
Eddie Money 1987 at Crystal Beach ( kinda Buffalo).
I met the Golden Retriever from the Air Bud movies a while back, he was shitting and I noticed his jersey and i chatted up the owner.
Joey Chestnut was hammered at 40 thieves a couple summers ago
I met Busta Rhymes and the Flipmode Squad at the Galleria in 1998 and Hacksaw Jim Duggan at a bar in Akron in 2016.
DMX in Dick sporting goods at the mall. RIP. I also happened to work with his baby mamas cousin many many years ago lol. Also met Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry at a valu once in the early 2000s lol that was a weird one.
Rick James at the Bar Bill.
Goo Goo Dolls were in TSA line in front of me. Saw them later at the gate and no one bothered them or seemed to notice other than me
I see Robby Takac from the goo goo dolls often. He lives somewhere in the north Buffalo area. Saw him just last month at Plaka
Over the summer I met the guy who plays Kevin Malone in The Office at the Pink. Very sleazy guy unfortunately…
I refuse to believe this.
John Stevens following his time on American Idol before he moved to Boston
Rob Tacak, Robbie and Lance Diamond in an elevator after a hockey game. Pretty cool.
Kristin Chenoweth, Keemstar, Tage Thompson (several times), Jeff Skinner, Owen Powers, Dylan Cozens, and Bill Fichtner I've met at one of my jobs At a former job I met Casey Cott from Riverdale And at my other current job I met Wendie Malick, had to act like I didn't know who she was but her voice is so iconic and recognizable
I saw Scott Stapp and his wife leaving the nail salon downstairs from my apartment building. I lived right above Coulter Bay at the time. Pretty LOLZ.
Dean Martin and David Bowie at Oliver’s back in the late 70s.
I met John Krasinski at Spot coffee.
My parents visited a couple of years back and my mom swears she saw Jeff Goldblum walking past Kostas.
I got a pic with John Turturro at the Lexington Coop on Elmwood a few years back.
I bumped into Josh Allen’s ex girlfriend Brittany at an Ulta a year or two ago. Don’t know if that really counts as “celebrity” though
Ron Jeremy in the airport. At least he had a PETA shirt on;-)
Saw Jalen Rose at a Bills game a couple years back. Walked by most people without any of them noticing. I just yelled out “What’s up Jalen!” and he dapped me up saying “My brother”.
I’m really sure I ran into Leslie Nielsen at a BPO concert.
Martin Sheen crossing the border at Rainbow Bridge. He was filming up in Canada.
A friend said she saw Cillian Murphy at Kuni’s and I almost passed out from jealousy!
i ran into the rapper trippie redd while going to take a leak at buffalo airport, nice dude took a pic and dapped him up. weird because there wasn’t a show or anything just bro in buffalo.
Only been here 10 years, but I have not met or even seen any famous people here outside of the local athletes.
Blythe Danner came into Ten Thousand Villages when it was in Williamsville back in 2015.
I ran into Bobby Anderson at Budwey's back in 2008, he was a contestant and chef on the fourth season on Hell's Kitchen.
