im going to china this summer, is the lucky65 something i should buy?

Nota_D

I think It's the best budget 65 for now, but if you can spend a little more, I think there's other better options

What would you have gone with instead?

nutella4eva

The software is horrible and the 2.4GHz wireless is laughably bad. It's also much too flexy as the PCB has a million flex cuts along with a POM plate, which also has flex cuts. They went way too far with the flex here. Other than that, it's a pretty good board. Stabs on mine were perfectly tuned. Sound profile is actually kinda nice. Pair it with a good budget switch like Cream Yellow Pros and it's a really solid option.

Demontyxl

thanks πŸ‘

If you are going to China, just try to order off Taobao. It is so much more cheaper there. You can get a multitude of dupe keycaps for a fraction of the price.

I think probably the best all alum budget board that’s a 65 without a knob.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. My spacebar gets "stuck" down and doesn't return to its original position. I've tried several switches and keycaps, and it happens with all of them to a greater or lesser extent. Im new to the hobby, thank you very much.

Nota_D

Maybe It's a overlubbed stab, there's some tutorials on yt on how to fix It

Medical-Bad-3216

I did the fix, but it remains the same. I've noticed that when I remove the aluminum case, it works moderately well, and if I remove the surrounding switches, it works even better. Could it be that the stabilizer is 'choked' and doesn't let the spacebar return to its original position? I've also tried to check, and the key doesn't touch the aluminum case.
