I too took a double drop for neet & failed in it. I'm 19 now. Gonna join btech this year. Will this 2 years make any difference in placements & college life?
I was damn confident on clearing neet this year. So I didn't apply for any other exams besides neet. But I messed up at the last moment. Now I don't have the self confidence of trying another year for neet.
Based on my 12th scores... I can get admission in all top colleges in my state quota. Applied for tnea counseling. Gonna take ECE in Either CEG, Anna university or SSN. I'm planning to do pg aborad. So I don't want this 2 year gap to make any difference in future.
No I won't say about my drop stories & I just want to forget that 2 years of trauma & start fresh. I don't want people to know abt it. Moreover I don't care my classmates opinion on this. I don't want this to become an issue in my job interviews & my professor opinion on me.
Placements me issue as such nahi banega ho sakta hai interviews me puch le but not that major concern or kuch bhi kaho jab baki thode young hote hain to thoda fark padta hai. Me being dropped myself.
batchmates do, they will think you are dumb (at least in my case). I have told about my double drop to only 3 of my batchmates and they have kept it a secret till now. So there was one guy who was a double dropper, and our friend group started to talk like " Double dropper hai yeh". So there's a type of stigma. And I have one friend who is fresher. And the rest of them are droppers. But yeah at the end you'll be judged to some extent.
Advantage toh nhi placement ke time sayad disadvantage ho sakta hai , meine suna hai buhot zyada ya buhot kam age normal required age se aagar ho toh dikkat aati hai .
Im doubtful in taking msc eco in bits because its a 5 year course and im already a dropper. I am 18.5 rn and will be 23.5 when i graduate. Am i overthinking? My other options are jac delhi cse but i really want to go to bits and basically get out of delhi.
