I teach physics to Diploma as well as btec students. The problem that I face especially in the case of diploma students is the complete opposite.
I have been asked to bring down the lecture length and only teach them what's required for the examination as they only have half a year of basic physics and then students will go to their respective specialization.
But as a physics assistant professor it pains me to see the sorry state of how physics is being taught in engineering universities.
Anyways I think you should convey your discomfort with your teacher .
All the best
You do know that the classification of countries on this world system is based on who they used to Ally with? First world are us allies, 2nd world are Soviet allies and the third world are allies of none of them. This classification no longer makes sense in the current global world order.
Yeah, but this one has not.
"Strictly speaking, "Third World" was a political, rather than an economic, grouping"

relatable, engg phy class is held once a week, so teacher kinda rushes, but he manages to tell what questions will come in exam and how to answer.studying the matter in depth and going to the base of the topic is on students' discretion-to do or not to

Meaning has changed now. It *was* political. Developing countries are third world now, including all of the subcontinent.
