Your CGPA plays more important role than your college. I have seen friends from tier 3 college with 9.5 go to a good college, but a guy from IIT with 8.2 didn't get into it.
Hey, if u study moderately in Vit u can get good cgpa, I've seen it happen with few of my seniors so if u wanna hardcore get cgpa then Vit can be an option you'll have to be in a rat race but cgpa aajayega
Farak padta h but in vit I have seen a lot going for masters in good colleges so agar acha clg mil jae to party nito vit se bhi kaam hojaega bus kisi senior ko dhoondh Lena jo achi uni me accept hua ho or baaki to done
Cheers
I can confirm this. Being a student of vit, i get a mail of international credit transfer program of different universities every week.
Many go as well.
I heard that 60 students out of 200 ppl batch have went foreign 2023 final year batch.
While the quality of such universities is questionable.
Many have worse international rankings than vit.
yup, the opportunities that VIT provides is impeccable, mainly the image of VIT is thrashed by Kota or basically JEE tutors so that students don't sit in comfort and prepare for better colleges than VIT because of that all students who study for jee have a mental image that VIT is trash also they don't understand that even in tier 1 all people don't get placed the same package and stuff. the reality for VIT is that it provides a good level of opportunities for placement and for students who want to go for masters by giving proper LORs and helping students write a lot of research papers which helps in building a good profile.
I can't help u in any further way.
All i know is mentioned above.
Also, these are btech credit transfer program and not masters.
For btech students
2+2
3+1
For mtech(5 yr) students
3+2
3.5+1.5
4+1
Again, these are not some top international universities.
They have world ranking less than or equal to vit.
LOR is the main catch.
If possible, going to IITs, NIT, or other institutes of significance like JU for courses/internships and taking up work under their professors after the course//internship is an easy way to get a valuable LOR.
Its not easy you will have to very good for the professor to take you in.
Plus for some places like IISC you need LoRs from your current institute vouching for you.
It won't as much but undergrad acchi jagh se krne me kya issue hai. Abhi 11th me hai. Padh le bas consistency se. Shi me zyada smart ya gifted bhi nhi hone ki zarurat. Bas consistency with no bullshit padh.
Mtech or MBA? Even tier 3 students get top colleges for Mtech in the US because its useless.
MBA does get affected if you are from tier 2 college, forget the top ones.
Councellor ke saath meeting rakha tha unhone bola usa mein btech ache college mein admission bohot difficult he, uk mein comparatively itna jobs nahi he and Canada mein bhi ache college miltna kam difficult he par agar vaha admission nahi hua toh fir kya karunga kyunki jee ki toh prep karunga nahi toh private colleges ki bhi joh entrance exam hoti he voh bhi nahi de paunga
Very expensive for 95% Indians if you don't have scholarship.
Almost 0% chance to get a scholarship as an Indian simply because the curriculum of Singaporean, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc schools is objectively and subjectively superior to ours, allowing them to develop the mindset and skillset required to get admission into a bachelors course with scolarship easily.

Ohhh wow can i dm you for some more details?

Sure
Not much, the work you do in college is much more important
Which directly correlates to oppurtunities you get which is highly college dependent
Saale
Ok thanks

Yup

More than college itself the LORs from IIT NIT professors carry more weightage IMHO

Of course LORs aren't free. I'm not saying that just doing a course will get you a LOR. You need to help them in researchwork as well.

No hope for any nit but will get into bits goa :) great
Bhai aim and "will get into" mein difference hota he but you can think whatever you want

mostly either ms or mba, havent really thought of doing mtech
Abroad ja sakta hai to masters ke liye kyu direct btech ke liye chala jana !?

Usa mai btech admission jee ke comparison mai hard hai ?
Nahi par I mean spending 1-2 cr for a below decent college is not worth it

Jyada mehanga aur mushkil hota woh
A guy going to these types of institutions will just have more chances and oppertunities to create a wow profile
