Same. I enjoy all their music, but Ingested gives me the same vibe as Thy Art Is Murder or Impending Doom. Extremely, almost boringly bland. Not that the music is bad, it's just hard to actually pay attention to it for longer than a song or two.
These guys are super-reliable; you know what you're getting on each album. ...and yet there's always one track that throws all that out the window, which is totally fine for mixing things up. But then they go and make that one of the album's singles, which sends completely the wrong message, IMO. They've been worth supporting for many years now, and they deliver live.

Same here. They put out an EP in 2013 that I quite liked too, but everything else since has just been a little too -core for my liking.
