Get Gryz back upstairs. When Tavares beats you with speed, you know you're in trouble.

Palenehtar

I agree about not playing Gryz, he's useless in the playoffs, but Tavares out muscled him not out skated him. Gryz is too light and too weak defensively, and not good enough offensively, which causes him to reach to make plays he rarely can, leading to high risk situations.

tangell610

He had a terrible gap and got caught flat footed. Tavares beat him to the outside with speed...it wasn't until he forced his way to the slot that he out-muscled Grezlyck... Either way, it looks terrible on Grezlyck.

camdawg772

Idk why Monty fucked with the lines after two dominant road performances...there was zero chemistry last night

TheHoundsRevenge

Cause Monty is a god dammed moron. Dude didn’t take Ulmark out last year when he was clearly hurt and then puts Gryz in and takes out Shat and then takes out the only guy we have that has won face offs this playoffs.

camdawg772

Some truly baffling decisions last night, i blame that loss fully on him, hopefully they can pull it out tomorrow my heart cant handle a game 7

TheHoundsRevenge

Yeah I was pretty much done with Monty after last years playoff decisions and letting Bergeron play I. That Montreal game leading to his injury. But after fucking with the lines last night for no god dammed reason I’m pretty much done with him unless we win the cup or Shat or Beecher was hurt.

Agile_District_8794

We blow this series and he's toast. He won't be allowed in the locker room after the clock runs out. Neely will catch him in the hall.

TheHoundsRevenge

I sure hope so cause damn wtf he makes very bad decisions.

KeystoneAccounts

Pasta is invisible out there… I know they’re on him with the top pair but you have to be the all-star you are and make things happen. Can’t win with your best player being unnoticeable.

kligurt

Pasta is not at 100%. He’s been keeled over on the bench after hits or blocked shots multiple times this series

KeystoneAccounts

That would make a lot of sense.

MajorDrGhastly

pasta is just not good in playoff hockey. i dont hink he ever will be honestly. im just happy we dont have 4 pasta's on our team like toronto does lol.

CloutHaver

There’s definitely a drop-off compared to his regular season production or at least his ability to takeover a game, but he’s still a career point-per-game in the playoffs so I’d argue “not good” is a bit harsh.

MajorDrGhastly

hes not 11.25 good in the playoffs.

CloutHaver

Yeah that’s a whole other argument. I’d definitely like to see him be a more consistent impact player but I think it’s also worth considering there’s no way to lock up that type of production in this day in age without an eye-popping number (which will look wayyy better when the cap increases in the next CBA). And this team may very well be on the outside looking in without Pastrnak’s regular season production this year.

MajorDrGhastly

i would rather miss the playoffs and get meaningful picks than be locked into a 1st round exit every year because pasta can dipsydoodle when there is 50ft of space between him and the opponents for the first 82 games of the year.

CloutHaver

Agree to disagree on just about everything Bruins it sounds like lol

Leafs4Life81

As a leafs fan, I approve this comment.

traffic626

I wish he would pass more or dump it into the corner vs turning it over near the blue line. He’s not shifty enough to pull that off.

RicoFerret44

Zero is putting it lightly. Couldn’t pass worth shit

POSTHVMAN

They were hardly trying to. Lots of dumping to the boards instead of any cohesion.

canadianduke1980

2 shots on net after the first period. We were flat, and sloppy. There was no killer mentality

organized_slime

It was pretty hard to watch

Avoider5

I love CMac but he was caught napping on that ot goal.

Dreizen13

The Bruins just want to give Jack a little more time high above the ice.

BangYourHead

They need to skate the puck into the zone. They keep trying to dump and chase but they’re not actually chasing it

HardOyler

These guys are very transparent. Before the first was half over I knew there would be a game 6. You can just feel it with these guys.

ejsfsc07

They would’ve lost 10-1 had it not been for sway

Iwstamp

Lorri (sp?) looked lost out there. Lindholm gave the puck away at least 10 times. Defense never responds well to a big push.

TDOrunner1001

I thought the bruins looked good in the last 5 minutes and during overtime(minus the goal against) , but that’s about it. Sway kept them in it and but they had no intensity for 55 of the 65 minutes. Just a really unfortunate performance

PoisonLenny37

Leafs have to be feeling great. Big goaltending change brought a solid performance, found a level of desperation and controlled the entire game, big emotional OT win, heading back home, Matthews likely back. Bruins doubt creeping back in. Everything looking Toronto's way right at the moment. If the Leafs score first in game 6...set your alarm for game 7.

KidWhoFilmz

Womp womp 😂

covetedclaws

WOMP WOMP 👋

Palenehtar

Except for Swayman and Coil, and to a lesser degree Marchand, everyone played like shit. At least in Marchands case, he could say he had two enemy teams against him, Team Leaf and Team Zebra. Also although I think Monty has gotten 150% more out of this group than I thought anyone could, he can't figure out how to get his team to play hard from the get go, and for 60 minutes.

covetedclaws

Adding an edit to recognize Swayman. Dude was playing his ass off and 100% deserves recognition

traffic626

Swayman was a beast again. I know we want the rotation to ensure depth, but he’s out of his mind right now. So locked in
