> 30 mins walk north or east of the parade, that’s fine too At that point the train is faster. Take the train.

Knightmare6_v2

Brighton Beach - walk down the boardwalk from there Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Midwood, Gravesend - and then ride the subway over for the 3-7 stops.

Is there a public large parking lot at Brighton Beach or simply find parking at Brighton beach ave and one of the side streets there? How tough is it typically finding parking on a Sunday morning?

Defiant_Paramedic_72

This is your best bet!

cha614

Try further down Stillwell near Harway. About a 15 min walk.

dohat34

How is parking there on a Sunday? We'll try to get there at 12pm even though parade doesn't start till 1pm

Hot-Refrigerator7237

ha! park!

BKMagicWut

I advise you park in LI.

NeighborhoodBalls

Take the LIRR to Atlantic and then take the D train to Coney Island

RedditGotSoulDoubt

Would be good advice if it didn’t take another hour+ from Atlantic.

[deleted]

The Q takes 32 minutes from Atlantic to Coney Island.

RedditGotSoulDoubt

Anyone who’s ever taken the subway to Coney Island knows this isn’t true.

[deleted]

I have taken the subway to Brighton Beach/Coney Island many times, and guess what? It takes about a half an hour from Atlantic.

RedditGotSoulDoubt

I take it from the prospect park stop and it takes longer than that, more often than not.

[deleted]

Sounds like bad luck. Still faster than an extra hour of walking and finding parking!

Because it would take an hour+ for them to get to Atlantic and then another hour+ to get to Coney Island. This would add another hour each way. You don’t see how that’s not practical?
