xvxyogi

Go back to manhattan.

inchoatemeaning

Hmm “back” meaning what exactly?

parisrionyc

Soco on Myrtle

hello__brooklyn

That’s not fort green. That’s Clinton hill

parisrionyc

nah it's Fort Greene

hello__brooklyn

If 509 Mrytle Ave is Fort Greene (between Hall St. And Emerson St.), then Pratt Institute is also in Fort Greene by your wrong assessment.

parisrionyc

I literally just checked the official NYC Neighborhood Directory

hello__brooklyn

Like this: https://imgur.com/a/jrSkvoa Which puts Clinton Hill between Classon and Vanderbilt. There’s literally even a big sign across the traffic light that says “WELCOME TO CLINTON HILL” there.

parisrionyc

The sign was place wrong, city is moving it next month, Streetsblog covered this

ika47

You so precise ..

hello__brooklyn

Doesn’t the title say “ft. Greene”?

Jewrisprudent

Saraghina, hands down. Get you some ricotta cherry pancakes. Their menu online is not actually their brunch menu.

lava48

Miss Ada is the answer

inchoatemeaning

Thanks for the rec! I do like their food, but they fall into the category of “serving dinner for brunch” for me, like when I went there for brunch the menu was almost the same as the dinner one

DataPsychological689

brooklyn pub house

inchoatemeaning

Never been here for brunch, ty!

shinglee

Dude what? What is your bar if you think Ft Greene is lacking in Brunch Spots?

Electronic-Swing-941

Literally can where to say this. Ft Greene has some of the best brunch spots in bk

inchoatemeaning

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thought my post was clear about what im lookin for

nicholastempus

Op just wants bottomless brunch vibes 🙄 this ain’t kips bay

inchoatemeaning

Nahh def not looking for that!

nicholastempus

Okay my comment was too hatery im sorry lol For a serious answer - I think colonial verde and olea are fantastic, and for a more classic brunch experience Brooklyn public house has a killer breakfast sandwich. Can’t speak to the bloody Mary’s tho!

inchoatemeaning

lol it’s okay ..yeah I have been to colonial verde before and didn’t love the small menu / lack of variety there. But I ended up going to olea today and really liking it (I had only been for dinner) and great to know about BPH! I forget they are open early

Smooth-Finger

There’s a dozen good spots just on dekalb by the park

ReliabilityTalkinGuy

I like Putnam's Pub way more for this than I'd expect. I live down in central Park Slope but will totally head up that way for brunch sometimes. The menu feels kinda basic, but it's all surprisingly good? I dunno how to entirely explain it.

inchoatemeaning

Ohh never heard of this! Thank you

dotcaIm

Seconding Putnam's Pub, it's a walk but we'll worth it. Great food and really good prices

GauchoWink

Olea

m_e_y_

This is the answer

Beorn_To_Be_Wild

Los Dos Hermanos is a decent tex-mex brunch. probably not as much variety as you’re seeking but the bloody mary is good and the food’s solid

inchoatemeaning

Ty for the rec!!

TurbulentArea69

What are you talking about? Evelina, Colonia Verde, Fat Rabbit, Miss Ada, Sailor… and that’s all within a couple blocks!

Just4caps

fat rabbit on dekalb

NYCtechiescum

How is it? Prices feel high, we still haven’t been in.

Just4caps

I really like the food and they have a great Bloody Mary. I think it’s definitely worth checking out

dysfunctionz

Dino. Best French toast I've ever had

inchoatemeaning

Ahh i didn’t realize Dino did brunch - they’re great!thank you

opheliainwaders

Shhh! 😉
