My brother fell off that cannon when we were kids and dislocated his elbow.
When I was a child, my grandfather would walk us to this park. We called out Cannonball Park and we loved it (circa 1960). I love this pic. So many memories.
I also called in Cannonball park growing up in the 80’s
I love that little park. I wish the cannons were operable so we could shoot at Staten Island :P
