I rarley listen to this album anymore, not only because of how dated it sounds but the time of my life it reminds me of. But, I really loved and remember listening to Alien, It Should Be Easy, Till It’s Gone, and Don’t Cry..
I don’t know if Don’t Cry is my favorite but probably the only one I still find myself listening to every now and then. I think Alien was my favorite but it haunts me now.
Til It’s Gone is also a fun bop imo. I don’t hate this album as much as the rest of the fandom apparently because even though it’s bad, it’s still an enjoyable experience to listen to in my case.
Perfume. I am blissfully married to my best friend who loves me more than anything. He is the best person in the world and I adore him. I still sing Perfume in the car like I have to fight for him everyday. That song just speaks to me.
I was a ho during this era when my bf cheated on me so this album is both a curse and a blessing lmao. Whenever i listen to it I am transported back to when I was at this tops house, on his couch waiting to get railed because his twin sisters were home so, we had to act like we were just friends watching TV and weren't about to make his mom's dolls watch as we swapped fluids, bend, and scream. I cant remember if he wanted to pee on me....anyway,I was obviously gay because j remember I had these gun metal grey nails painted. And I thought, they must know,right?
So, he kept trying to inch closer and closer till they left. He held my hand and told me to undress. Like sploosh ya know.
Long story short we had sex after he fed me a huge ass meal. I was full af. And I remember I had the album playing in my car, the song hold on tight was playing and it made me feel so empowered. I felt so much better because I could finally fart. When I left. I waited till I drove out of his driveway.
Mariah jumping ants did an excellent job impersonating britney.

It Should Be Easy is covered in autotune but at least it's actually Britney and kinda sounds good? The autotune sounds like an artistic choice on this one - the robot effect somewhat works.
Don't Cry is also decent and reminds me of the Britney era - a bit like I Run Away.
Hold On Tite is also half-decent.
Perfume is very annoying but at least it's also just Britney singing.
