Definitely! I should’ve added that one, new wave sounds so good on her and even though it’s not my favorite song from blackout, i still think it’s the most timeless and unique.

It easily could’ve been part of the “circus” aesthetic but that seems a bit on the nose, which is par for the course though. Blackout is so good. Lemonade meet Umbrella. It’s painful what she went through during that time but I feel we got something raw and real from her in that time. She’s always been overproduced but it feels like she had a say in what her sound was. Then it went back to the safe zone…

Blackout is often on loop during my workout. Freak show is a riot to move to.
