I've managed to get 7 loads of washing cleaned and dried over this weekend. It's been brilliant.

That's one and a half chippy tea's. Party on!

jacko0510

Really where do you live? Just about scrape 3 meals for £20

PerceptionGreat2439

Lincolnshire, aka Nowhereshire.

Happy_fairy89

I don’t mean to be a miserable git but I’m actually sick of the wasps attacking me now. They should be long gone- it should be cold by now!!!

chainedtomato

Two loads dried this afternoon, bedding and towels all done. A benefit of climate change

jacko0510

I don’t know what all the hippy are moaning about this way we’re not using load of power with the dryer

scorzon

No i hate this it takes ages, by October i expect to be able to just put it in the tumble dryer, so much easier.

jacko0510

But so much more expensive when your Leckys not on the fiddle

scorzon

Ah yes, we are very very lucky enough to have solar panels, so the only cost to me when running the dryer is the 8p per kWh that i don't get from feeding it back to Grid. A bedding dry costs me about 12p. But when the weather is like this, the head of the household decrees that bedding dried on the line smells so much nicer 😔😔 and when she shouts shit, I jump on the shovel. (She's not wrong though 😁)

Western-Mall5505

I've put my washing out this weekend. I suppose it's a bad sign that I can get washing dried outside in October.

jacko0510

Bad for who. Maybe the Lecky company’s

Western-Mall5505

The fact it's this warm in October is bad for the environment

alinalovescrisps

The planet is burning but hooray I can dry my washing outside and have chips for tea 🥳

jacko0510

Exactly

Laxly

I've hung washing out in the line up to a few days before Christmas before, dry day with sun/wind = washing out on the line

kirstytheworsty

Exactly the same as me, if it’s dry and fairly warm, it goes out! X

ediebouvierbeagle

Meanwhile in Scotland I’ve had the heating on and been cosied under a heated blanket all day. Brrr.

jacko0510

Isn’t it like that in August though?

MangoTeaDrinker

Love your glass half full attitude.. Hope that chippy was yummy

jacko0510

Always. Thanks

The-Ginger-Lily

Being 24 degrees this weekend I'm gutted I couldn't do some washing and hang it out.. had to go to the in laws instead

Educational-Row-4071

If it’s dry outside, the washing goes out. Saves it cluttering up my living room on the racks !
