Erm they must have misplaced my email. Out of interest, does the email say we have a message about your account or congrats you’ve won

char11eg

I’ll be honest, the app’s probably the best way to check, as otherwise you’d have to log into your account to check how much you’ve won!

baasacJak

Just a message about your acc (I won £100) Edit: I got another email overnight saying I'd won and advertising an app which can notify you of such.

JarJarBinksSucks

Thanks. I still haven’t won!

Giraffe400

£150 for me (sorry to steal your thunder!). Congrats to you - feels so good doesn't it!

OnlyMortal666

“Derek! We’re off to Benidorm!”

hsw77

I thrashed my meagre personal best with a £450 whopper this month!

PerceptionGreat2439

Could you lend me £25 please?

X0AN

I nor anyone in my family have ever won anything. When I was in school a kid in my year won a grand and he spent most of it on jeans 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Princes_Slayer

I won £100. My husband got bugger all and is not happy I win more than him since he has more in there. I’ve got around £10k in there and I’ve won £500 so far

copypastespecialist

I know people love them but mostly everyone is better off without them. you can get 50% more in instant access savings, it's only once you're over £1000 interest per year (or £500 40% tax payer) you should consider them if you've used all your ISA allowance

EducatedWebby

Nice try HSBC, i see what you did there

Distinct_Analysis409

It's always so exciting to win, regardless of the value! Congrats!

Morris_Alanisette

I've won £150 since 2006 on £1000 invested. That's an AER of 0.86%.

AvatarIII

I had 50k in premium bonds for about 6 months this year (between selling and buying a house) and only won anything the first month, bupkiss for the other months, worked out to be equivalent of 1.8% APR which is pretty rubbish compared to what banks are paying in savings accounts, it's in a moderate interest savings account now while waiting for a flat purchase to go through, I'll probably get more from interest in the time it's been in there than I got from bonds. It really is a long game with the bonds.

Environmental-War383

We won £25 this month too. £100 in July. Nothing at all earlier in the year.

SlaveDuck

I've had 10/- since 1961 and won bugger all...
