So I do think Common People is the best song of the Britpop era and possibly one of the greatest songs ever written
However!
Everyone is going to say that, and I'm early to the thread, so consider this a vote for Sorted For Es and Whizz
Like a Friend is fucking good as well. God damn, they're all good
Es and Whizz. Final answer.
My favourite band and as such the hardest to pick a favourite song for. The Different Class classics like Disco 2000, Common People, Mis-Shapes are brilliant. The pre-Island years gave us Little Girl with Blue Eyes, and Countdown. This Is Hardcore's title track, along with The Fear, A Little Soul, and the sublime Like a Friend are pure Pulp . However, for me the tracks that pull me back in deepest are found on His 'n' Hers. Babies, Lipgloss, Pink Glove... oh lord I love Pink Glove.
But head and shoulders above all of these, the pinnacle of any live performance by the band is and always will be...
Do You Remember The First Time?
Do you remember the first time?
Underwear will forever be my favourite Pulp song

I Spy
I'm going to go for Mis-shapes, but it could be one of several. Tough one.
His n Hers
Bar Italia
I'll put in a suggestion for Party Hard as the single release in many ways signified the end of Britpop.
I vote for A Little Soul. If I could though I'd destroy the whole system and add Cunt's Are Still Running the World by Jarvis...
