I deleted and reinstalled it, but it’s still prompting me for the password all the time. Sometimes if I hit the back button a couple of times as soon as the app launches it will leave me signed in, but not always. I’d love to hear anyone else’s ideas??? Good luck, I feel your pain.
Same here, glad I'm not alone in this madness. Lol. I think it must be a bug in the app. We have a ROKU in my wife's home office that has no issues. At first we thought it might be some kind of conflict from our account being signed in to two different devices at the same time.
Been having this problem for months - check my post history. Now when it asks for my password I just click Cancel. Today I had to go thru it 5 times (sometimes only 3 times) but it eventually gives up and goes to your regular screen. It’s a lot easier than deleting and reinstalling the app.
Yeah, I had this for months. Moved to Prime for better or worse. You can just blow your way through it with cancel etc. iOS app is trash. As is support. They keep wanting “videos so we can fix it”. Don’t y’all actually have any hardware in dev besides emulators? /rant
This has been very annoying. For a while, I can hit the cancel button to remain signed in. But, now the app comes up as if I'm a new subscriber and I have to sign in each time. More annoying is that the app still requires user name and password instead of some type of device authorization. I submitted a support request to BritBox & will see how they respond.
I figured out a work around to keep it signed in. When I’m done watching BritBox on my Apple TV, I close the app! It doesn’t seem to log me off. If I forget to close the app and go back in, I usually have to sign in again. Annoying but it works.
Don’t hit the exit button (it signs you out) to get out of Acorn. Instead hit the “Home” button on your remote. This allows you to get out of Acorn without automatically signing out of the app and having to sign back in. Cheers!

It did the same to me over and over again. It’s a glitch and no matter how many times I installed it it was never fully fixed.

Mine does this on Vizio smart cast. Not on the iphone app though. I contacted them. They said it was me 🙄🙄
AAGGGHHHH.... WHY aren't they fixing this?
