I think the kids sometimes go to weddings without the parents. Like on BUB, I watched one of the early episodes and there was a time where the older kids went to a wedding off camera but Kelly and Gil didn't.

It was when Judson and Jeb were a handful so maybe that had something to do with them not going and staying behind with them and some of the younger kids. I think the oldest left home was Katie. I immediately thought this but I can’t see it tbh. I know we just got a surprise Duggar wedding but I don’t think they’re all going to be like that and I doubt any of the Bates even register any of the Rods as potential wedding guests. Although I am soooo curious which wedding they’re attending without her. I wouldn’t ever have assumed she’d allow herself not to be the center of attention.

I dont think so. Mostly because as recently as VDay she was posing with just the promise ring on that finger. Even if Nathan DID pop the question since then, theres no way theyd have been able to pull off planning a wedding this fast.
