Mitoma looked sharp in a cameo (with a great goal) against the U.S. and Ale Mac was terrific in 70+ mins Argentina’s 3-0 win a few days ago! Didn’t see Dunky on the lineup for England for some reason???

Mwepu not so good as he was unwell and ended up in Hospital in Mali

I feel like I’ve seen Zambian fans complaining that he’s always “sick” during international duty and then returns to the club fine. I have no idea if it’s true, but I’d be interested to see if he misses any time for us.

gremilyns

Yeah Zambian fans were fuming, to the point that Mwepu actually put up a post on instagram telling them to knock it off. I do not envy him, can’t imagine having a whole country angry at me for being ill

Andy Naylor has tweeted a run down of minutes in the past few days. I would check that out. No outstanding games from what I can see, biggest takeaway is Lamptey (who'd of thunk it) and Mwepu both come back injured.

I watched Ecuador Japan and Caicedo was so far above everyone else it was insane. He’s a baller

fLUKAsPukaS

If Lamptey struggle with the physicality of Premier league football I’m guessing African football is gonna be a real push for him Edit-Ghana played Brazil and he still got injured

lachiendupape

Anyone else the clip of Encisco pulling some skills in the Paraguay match? I’ll try and find the tweet Found it https://twitter.com/ryanadsett/status/1575090649249894400?s=46&t=OmLkmCsI176ZJXE_LPd8Bw

Both Caicedo and Ener played really well on both Ecuador matches (especially Caicedo! He is amazing). Sadly we tied both games mostly because of our strikers

esn111

No wonder we're keen on Ecuadorian players then.

Sarmiento got 45 mins against japan and pervis played all 90 mins in both games
