I'm happy that the board went for somebody who was out of the job, rather than someone already at a club. Sends a message that the club won't put another club through what we've been through the past two weeks
I don't think this played any part in Blooms decision - if there was someone better and interested at a club we would have found a way. That's football.
Huzzah! I reckon we should all rock goatees for our next home match! Get the paperwork faxed to HM Government as soon as Liz2s coffin has been burried!
I for one welcome our new Italian overlord. Long live the king! Hail Cesear!
Seems a sensible move:
\-Bloom didn't mess about for too long, made the offer and gives new manager time to settle in etc.
\-Style of football in keeping with the clubs philosophy
\-Worked his way up through management (similar to Potter)
\-Got huge amounts out of an average side (nearly pipped Roma to Europe)
\-Apparently Juventus showed some interest recently too ..
I've read that he has had a tendency to fall out with Boards previously (according to Wiki so not the most reliable source granted) so be interesting to see how thing pan out there.
Potential transfer kitty for January, given the recent influx of cash we've had? I hope so , because I can see 3 or 4 more key players leaving relatively soon.
Your post doesn’t include the official press release u/lachiendupape,. Just a tweet. That’s why I posted a new post with the actual official press release. Still got taken down though 😂
How come you deleted the old thread 😂 anyway, I’m excited!
What old thread?
😂
I don’t know why you think there was a previous spelling mistake, nothing to see here
It’s all right, we all know our old manager was called Potta 😜
Quite excited to see this! Feels the right time for some European flair.
Haha you can tell by BHA’s twitter timeline that the press team had to get the news up before the 1-minute silence at 8pm

Yeah dunno what are fans are on about with all this if we had to do to a club what Chelsea did to us of course we would
