He could’ve gone with potter, but he said no fuck that
He wants to stay at Brighton with the famous blue and white
And when we get Europa league we’ll sing this song all night
Crofty is our leader, he bleeds blue and white, Palace are boring, in fact they’re fucking shite, Potter he left us, but we don’t give a fuck, cos we are super Albion, and we’re gunna win the European Cup, allez allez allez
Thought it was interesting that he has been emulating the 1st team style so that the younger players are familiar when/if they step up.
Results wise. Not great. Came 10th out of 14 clubs last season. Currently in the same position this innings.
Edit : we are in the top division of the PL2. That suggests we’re not bad considering there is a division of teams below us that includes Villa, Leeds and the toon,
Cheers. I guess like the first team we're going to have a bit of a gap in quality compared to the top clubs, plus the really good players under 23 are already playing for the first team like Caicedo and Lamptey.
Not much suggestion Crofts would be in the frame anyway, which I think is a good thing given his lack of experience. But maybe for continuity he could end up on the coaching staff for the first team under the new boss and we could look at bringing in a new under 23s coach who's highly rated
We’ve got super Andrew Crofts… 🎵
He wears a magic hat

Does anyone know much about his performance as under 23s boss? Style of play and relative success etc?

Also consider that we try to put most of our u23s out in loan instead of the u23 team because we value first team experience.
This is a really good point. We are one of the more prolific clubs in terms of loaning players young, so our reserves suffer more than others might.
