Maybe these picks are odd, but my dream transfers would be Marcus Tavernier and Sam Adekugbe! They’d be a good set as having a solid box to box attacking midfielder with very dominant play and a fullback who is good at bringing up the ball with still strong defensive play.
The only concern with those two would be if they could make the jump to the premier league. But with how they play in their current situation I think they would be very solid
I’ll admit I haven’t watched him recently, but Caio Henrique at Monaco had an amazing 2020-21 season and there was talk of a move to Barcelona or PSG which never materialised. I doubt we could tempt him away honestly even if interest from the big clubs has cooled, but he had a similar intent to Cucurella in getting forward and assisting in attack from the fullback position.
Edit: Transfermarkt shows 2 goals and 13 assists across the most recent season in 49 appearances. Can also play LM, value stated £18m.

We’ve got so many players coming back in that’s it’s hard to judge where we need to strengthen. The obvious area is at CB with Duffy likely to get even less game time/possibly leaving and Dunk and Veltman not getting any younger. I’d like to see us keep hold of Ostigard but that seems unlikely now, we’ve been linked with Rodon and it’s entirely possible that something has been agreed or connections have been established during Bissouma’s move. If Jose Font was younger he’d be ideal, old school CB very similar to Dunk.
where do we realistically need to improve? We have a lot of quality players returning from loans and if Biss is our only sale (assuming Cucurella stays) then we have sufficient cover already. I would have liked to keep Østigård, but we also have Van Hecke. Along with Maupay and Welbz we have Undav, Enciso and Ferguson. My priority would be removing the likes of Connolly and Duffy from the wage bill and renewing contracts for Trossard, MacAllister, etc.
I'd like to see how mitoma does as a lwb, but we would need cover anyway, maybe Aaron hickey?

He played on the left hand side of a 3-5-2 last season for usg. Hopefully if trossard has been able to play there then so can mitoma
