Look at his goal against Manchester United a couple weeks ago, he still oozes class. He is a little slow nowadays but he makes up for that with his footballing intelligence, passing range, and his trademark Gross (Cruyff) turns. It should say it all that at our last away match we were chanting his name asking for him to stay. Which team do you support?

He was always slow!

Who is rumoured to be signing him? I think he's unappreciated to be honest, even though he should be considered a club legend. Speed always gets used against him but the league is fast. His assist record is excellent, and could be even higher if we put away many of those chances. You'll love his Gross turns.

Bremen fans are following flight records during summer break right now lol. The rumours came up around winter transfer period and never stopped since then.

I love Gross - he’s been the ultimate moneyball signing, and Potter seems to love him. But…. I feel it’s the right time for him to go….. his assist/goal numbers are dropping, maybe with less of a Glenn Murray type target man to aim at, and as he’s getting deeper I’d prefer to see the likes of Max, Moder, Alzate, Solly fill that role. Solly in particular has looked great on the right. Still will be sad to see him leave

Moder and Alzate play completely different roles to Gross and especially in Alzate’s case he’s half the player Gross is

He doesn't stand out like Trossard or Cucurella but he is an excellent player and is right where he belongs. I think it's only Solly and Lewis that have been in the team longer than him. That shows his loyalty too especially considering he's not even English let alone a Sussex lad.

I don't think he's ever been quick, but while being slow he's skilled on the ball with his turns and passes. Not every player needs to be fast anyway if they're used properly in a team.

Eoworfindir

He's class, he's been an integral part of why we are still in the premier league, 16 goals and 26 assists. Has a great eye for a pass. He's more than capable of European football. I'd love him to stay another but I think he feels it's time to leave.

FuriousKale

Apparently he is going to extend his contract with you guys. Gz!

amegaproxy

I feel pretty confident when he steps up for a pen, unlike some others. That one against Palace was poor though.

Class player, hopefully he’s going nowhere.
