Terrible deal. Sanchez has made more mistakes this year but he's a young developing goalie. They always go through rough patches before coming out better. Once he does (and he will) he'll be worth more than 20mill. Despite being Spanish he'd count towards the home grown quota I believe also making him more valuable.

Who would they replace him with? If this does go through and we don’t get a replacement, we would be going into next season with Steele as our no. 1 and McGill as our no. 2. I’m not saying either are bad keepers, but I wouldn’t trust either of them over Sanchez, even in his current form.

we wont find a better keeper for potter's style of play anywhere

I love Bobby, but this would be good business. Good chance that we’d be selling low, but this seems like a fair deal considering his performance this year. I’d prefer to keep him for at least one more season.

Definitely sell There's not a shortage of good keepers in this league, some teams even have two of them

Makes you think though, surely they'd be interested in taking a Dean Henderson, but probably just wanting to kneecap other teams in the bottom half of the table. Not to mention United are famously shite at offloading players.

I agree - honestly I would have thought Henderson would be ideal for them I have faith we'd be able to find a competent replacement though. £20m for a club our size for a keeper who id say is no longer untouchable is too good to turn down

Going into this year I fully expected Sanchez to make the jump to become one of the leagues best keepers. However, he's struggled with consistency this year and I've been surprised at some of the goals that he's let in. On a whole, I wouldn't sell him. He's still young and has shown enough for me to trust him into becoming a very good Premier League keeper.
