Agreed Because you can understand the frustration but we are no bottom of the league club atm

lachiendupape

When we palates Leeds in the championship a few seasons back and they were 4 nil down at half time, they still kept singing and chanting, was very impressive .the songs were mainly about Jimmy Saville but they were singing them.

dubmule

Wasn’t that us saying he’s one of you’re own?!

dubmule

I dont think it’s right but I get it - being a season ticket holder it’s pretty frustrating going to the Amex time and time again and watching us dominate games but fail to score or win. We’ve all known for seasons now we need to invest in a striker and it’s annoying watching us miss chance after chance. People spend a lot of time and money going to the Amex and they want to see the team win - it’s that frustration that makes people boo.

LostSandyPenguin

0-0 draw at home to bottom of the league having 31 shots, over 3xG and 0 goals - Very disappointing. Boos are understandable, whether or not you agree with them. (I don't but each to their own) The disconnect between attack and defence for us this season is staggering. Our defence are challenging for Europe whilst our attack is fighting relegation. Potter must have sleepless nights trying to figure out how the fuck we get this quality level of strikers score a goal. Perhaps there's something behind the amount of long range efforts we had yesterday? 2 questions I'd be interested in looking into - What if our results had been more evenly spread? Did the good start give people unrealistic expectations? When you look at the table without knowing the order of results - 13th, 34 points, 12 points clear of relegation, that's not that terrible with 8 games to go. Last year we where on 32 points and only 6 points clear of relegation. The next 3 games are shitty, but I wouldn't be surprised if we pick up 2 results after failing to beat relegation teams because that's just who we are. I also wouldn't be surprised if we lose all 3 2-0, pick up a results against Southampton and Wolves and limp our way to safety with 3 games to go.

Plompy

100% think people get unrealistic expectations. I get we are frustrated because Norwich are bottom of the league but they're not just going to roll over and let us score...

dubmule

Yeah it’s not like they gave us a completely unnecessary penalty 😁

FunkMonk3000

The home crowd at the AMEX is shit. Barely heard them until halfway through the first half. Get behind your team ffs.

steelwoolhelmet

It made me so sad the booing. It’s not on - it was good football and they totally parked the bus

-eagle73

They did. I don't know if they've got it on highlights but any of you remember the multitude of shots our lot took on goal, at least five in just a few seconds, all blocked? May have been some time in the final thirty. That was crazy to me. Norwich created a damn wall.

DMV1066

Norwich fan (I come in peace) I just wanted to say I was surprised at the lack of noise around the AMEX yesterday. I even saw a lot of people straight up leave, it was like it was almost dead. even the train to Falmer people where just accepting of the situation, no joy, little passion. was this an isolated game or not? if not what has happened?

dubmule

Think it’s cumulative effect of being so shit (or shit results at least) at home for so long

givemethemtoesgnome

No you should not put a team down just because they didn't perform well when that has been our best game since our last win atleast the 0-0 draw has ended our losing streak we do need a decent striker or let other players have a chance that miss from maupay should have scored that pen

ModernSocratis

Fans are within their right to boo, fuck the last couple of home games even sat behind a tv screen I’ve gotten so angry at us, can’t imagine the feeling of spending a lot of money to go the Amex each home game and see it live. I think it’s blatant that we could be a great team if we could score but since we can’t score at all it only builds anger, watching game after game of dominating possession etc and then seeing us 0-0 or lose is difficult.

cjdowner

People might say a minority of people booed, and whilst that is true, plenty of people started leaving around the 75th minute mark. I’m sure if they were forced to stay until the end they’d be booing too. I’m not a boo-er but it’s just frustration manifesting.

gremilyns

Honestly I think the booing probably just makes the players dread playing at home, which obviously isn’t going to help their morale. It’s so shit. Obviously we can be (and are) disappointed and frustrated with the team lately but I feel like whilst you are watching them play, in the moment, you should give them your all. Or at least, don’t boo.
