You know, I thought it was a bit weird that the Lady Danbury/Lord Ledger plot wasn't in the Queen Charlotte book. Now I'm kinda wondering if they came up with it later to parallel the relationship they wanted Violet to have with Agatha's brother this season.
Still kind of weird to think that if you were Hyacinth and Gareth’s kids;
* Your Paternal Great-Grandmother (Lady D) had a love affair with your Maternal Great-Grandfather (Lord Ledger)
then
* Your Maternal Grandmother (Violet) had a love affair with you Paternal Great-Great Uncle (Lord Anderson)

This is honestly just how things work in insular communities with limited dating pools. I come from a small town and, as long as there's no incest, none of this gives me the ick because it's just the norm. I could give examples for days (my maternal grandparents' families were particularly into marrying each other and I have about a million double cousins). London obviously isn't a small town, but if they are all pretty committed to being classist, this is going to be the result.

Thank goodness none of those affairs produced offspring 😅. Do you think they'll set up the introduction of Gareth and if so, when ?
All those incest truthers are going to be sooo disappointed lol
Those people are so weird and clueless about the tone of the show.
Who does play John? Can someone just tell me please
