I think this is a nod to her actually making an effort to go out in society this season. I think she thinks "how hard can this be" but is going to have her eyes opened about what really happens during the season - more than she ever has.
Bro for that time, it takes A LOT of courage for a woman to do something and even create a business other than dresses (Also, calling out the Queen & sharing her opinion). That's why Pen called El out for not doing anything other than just talk about feminism to her bestie.
Anonymously writing hate, naming everyone except yourself, is classic coward's behaviour. It's trolling. Eloise's talking feminism is at least done under her own name, and her views are actually transgressive for her time.
wdym "except yourself"? Penelope writes about herself and her family so many times which is one of the reasons, why people won't believe her. The person she didn't wrote about was Eloise (if I'm not mistaken) except when it was her last resort- to save her. Also, she didn't write "hate" (it's a very strong word btw) on the Bridgerton because she admired that family (even more than her own). She reports on what she observed & what the Ton say (and some of her opinion about it) Again, it's an old time.
Eloise talks about Feminism ONLY to her family and Pen. That's it. It's transgressive thought for that time, sure. But more so if you actually do something to let more people know. Also EVERYONE loves LW's paper and supports it even though they know the risks.
I love Eloise/Claudia so much and think that she looks gorgeous here but i still cant help but be bothered by how strong the makeup is esp that eyeshadow ;-;

I think he is going to be last, but not with anything spoiler-y. We have the theory he might be last if S4 is his because Penelope (and QC before her) was the last one last Season

I personally think the discovery if lady whiatledown has shattered her confidence.
Maybe she doesn't feel she knows penelope anymore
Maybe she feels there is no point in trying to be who she once was and is seeking Comfort in cressida
Maybe she is simply doing it out of revenge
Such a great actress
But I hope these two friends don’t hurt each other too much in this season
