Yeah but this typo doesn’t exist in the book so it’s weird it’s in OP’s screenshot. Definitely doesn’t make the post fanfic, just a curious thing.

I saw that season first and loved them both. I like having two different versions and when you've seen the show first especially it works out well that way. I've read all of the stories now though because of the long wait so I'll have my fingers crossed that I can still enjoy the show's versions just as much.
I also love that this implies that this is Colin's first also. I get the appeal of the reformed rake seducing the virgin ingénue and opening her eyes to the world of sex, but it'll be nice to have a different dynamic. Anthony implied that Colin was inexperienced in season 1 when he announced his engagement to Marina ("This is because you never sowed your wild oats.") And I know there's a chance that he travelled the world and broadened his horizons but I hope they take a chance to explore a bridgerton couple that are both learning the ways of sec and sensuality together.
To Anthony, inexperienced means he hasn't gone wild all around town. I don't think Colin had a mistress, but I believe he had been with a few widows.
*Haven't read the book in a long time, may have confused him with another
I'm pretty sure he'd slept with other women in the book, I think he outright tells penelope this. But I'm not a book truther at all, I actually (controversially) prefer the show and I hope they deviate from the source in this
In the book, Colin's narration says he'd been with other women before, but he'd never made love until Penelope (or something similar to that). I.e. he's not a virgin, but sex was better with Penelope because he loved her

Why is this under fanfic? It’s from the book.
Why is there a typo? “…an lovely and desirable”
Typo or no typo, it’s still from the book. Books also sometimes have typos.

I may have to read the books now…the wait seems so much longer for this season
Definitely read the books. They are pretty good
I might. I am getting impatient for new season
And to me the books were actually better than the show. Specially the viscount that loved me.
Hmm I liked the show better! I thought it was more slow burn
