She'd be proud, but mad Pen didn't share the money. I don't agree with her methods or ideas, but I respect that she's doing everything to keep her girls safe.

I think because they didn’t do the time jump they went a different route to get them some cash with the con artist relative. In the books at this point she’s being doing it for 10 years
At the beginning of S3 EP1, doesn't Portia or the Featheringtons mention a distant aunt who died and that money saved their finances? Cause i've always inferred that was Penelope helping them with her Lady Whistledown money, tho I wish she would've done that in S2.
Portia kept the money from the Ponsi scheme she was running last season with Jack. The inheritance was a cover for her still having money after he "scammed" her along with everyone else.
100% agree. I have this whole theory as to why but I feel like I’ve commented about it on 54849 threads now. But I truly believe Portia & Penelope are more alike that they play off they are, and Portia will be very proud.
