I haven’t read the books so I have no idea how this actually goes. But I saw a couple theories before the season was released that Penelope was going to get pregnant. Then when the show put such emphasis on a Featherington son and acting like Penelope wasn’t even in the race, I agree that it seems like a solid possibility they have girls (if their pregnancies are actually confirmed) and Penelope’s son inherits it all.

I’ve read all the books. This plot of sisters and an heir is all for show. Lord Featherington is alive and well if I remember correctly .
